So love me like you've never loved before-

"What do you want, Jordan?" The tattooed boy pressed his phone to his cheek.

"Dude I fucked up."

Josh stepped away from where he stood on the left wing of the stage, "What do you mean you fucked up?"

"I was going in and out of the dressing rooms backstage looking for you," Josh started to make his way from backstage and out into the lounge area where no one was present, "I opened a door and stepped in, but saw no one inside."

The red-headed boy exhaled in exasperation as he ran in and out rooms along the dark hallway, "I'm about to go on stage in like thirty seconds can't your jokes fucking wait?"

"I'm not playing around with you Josh."

"Are the lights on? Can you see anything?"

"The lights are on, but I don't know where I'm at, I can't open the door, it bolted shut and can only be opened with a key." Jordan complained from the other end of the door.

"Would you kindly explain to me how a grown ass man gets himself locked into a room?" The young man pops his head into another one of the room, "Are you even fucking potty trained?"

"For the millionth time, I'm not the one locked in."

Josh stopped for a moment deciding whether or not he really wanted to miss his show, "Who was it then?"

"It's that person you're always with."

"No way," Josh told his brother, "Tyler was waiting with me backstage."

"I'm not talking about him," Jordan exhaled, "It's Gale."

Those two words were enough to make a cold sweat run through Josh's skin. If he wasn't running before you bet that now he was bolting in and out of every hallway, every corner, every room.

Lie to me, your lips got me banging down your door.

He spotted a room down the hall with light that peaked underneath: his dressing room. The shorter boy stood anxiously against one of the walls, constantly looking around for his brother's arrival.

"What the fuck did you do?" Josh ran up to the light.

"Gale?!" The redhead called from the other side of the door, "Are you in there?!"

A slender pair of fingers reached from underneath the door, Josh could recognize them anywhere. He reached down his hand to meet her soft touch and soon let go.

Speak to me; tell me everything that you wanna hear.

"Are you sure this door can't open?" The taller boy tried to keep the anger that boiled inside of him calm, but he couldn't.

"By the time I noticed she was in there the door closed she was locked inside," Jordan ran his hands on his jeans, "If she would've done or said something I would've noticed, but-"

"She's mute! She can't speak!" Josh growled loudly at his younger brother

"Shut up asshole before I decide to leave you locked up in some random dressing room where no one can hear you." His voice was angry and boomed off the dark walls.

Just like his little brother said, the door was locked shut. Josh tried rattling the doorknob as much as he could but it resulted into nothing. He searched through his pockets for the possibility that he might've had a key but had no luck.

"I'm going to take down the door," Josh decided and started to walk away from the room, "Step away from in front of it."

Speak to me; give me love, baby, I'm all ears.

So Josh charged at the door with all the adrenaline and strength he possessed. Within instants, his body collapsed against the wooden frame the door making it open with an alarming noise.

"Gale?" He spotted the small girl frantically hyperventilating at the other end of the room. She was curled up into a delicate ball of fear with her blonde waves spidering along her shoulders and knees.

"Gale!" He called out her name with desperation and a heavy voice. She looked up slightly from in between her slender arms and proceeded to get up rapidly meeting Joshua half way into the dressing room as he let her crash into his hard chest. He wrapped his arms tightly around her and tried to be as comforting as possible. Josh knew how scared the blonde was of being alone and of being locked in tight places and he wanted her to know he understood.

Speak to me; remind me what to dream of at night.

"I'm so sorry," he exhaled into her hair, "I'm so sorry you were here by yourself. I'm sorry I wasn't here."

Jordan had vacated the premisses by that point, allowing the pair to have their privacy as Josh whispered apologetic words of love and Gale felt his heart say them.

Without anymore hesitation or words, Josh cupped his hands against her cheeks and leaned down to bring his forehead against hers. He flashed his eyes between her lips and her eyes for signs of consent, but in response Gale just wrapped her arms around Josh's neck and pressed her lips against his in a deep passionate kiss.

Speak to me; with you in my arms I can be alright.

When she pulled away Josh was left speechless and although her smile was a close second, kissing him was the most beautiful thing her lips ever did.
