DEDICATED TO: Damen, for giving me tingles every time I hear your name. <3

Sarah just kept on talking. Ranting about her crush, which is named Mark or Matt? Like I said, I wasn't really listening.

What I want to do now is lay on my bed, think and daydream about Jeffrey. Why did he wait for me at the door? Although, I gotta admit, it sent me tingles.

"What do you think---?" Sarah said loudly for me to hear, I guess. And for me to wake up from my dream.

"About what, again?" I asked, her eyeing me suspiciously.

"Ugh! Of course you weren't listening.! Anyway, the double-date? Me and Matt, you and Reeve?" She said, fluttering her eyes and trying to persuade me to say yes.

"A double --date? Well, I --um..you know, I just..not really.,." I whispered, stuttering.

"Plsss...???" She made that beautiful eyes thing-y.

Since we are not really that close and I want her to like me even more, I said yes.

"Sure.!" I said. Sounding very excited.

"Thank you so much!!!" She literally shrieked.

"But...only for you, okay?" I said.

She smiled. Who is this Reeve guy anyway? Never heard of him.

"How was your day, honey?" My mom asked me the second I got home. I sat on the table, eating chips. Personally, I hate being called any names except my name, Emily.

"Pretty cool." I said, choking from the chips. I remembered I had tons of homework so I finished the chips hurriedly.

"Gotta go." I said as I grabbed my bag and head on my room.

I dropped the bag on the floor and sat on my bed and switched on the tv. I did my homeworks while watching tv.

"Heey...." Sarah greeted me in the morning as I parked my car in the parking lot.

"Morning. You excited for our date?" She said, like a cute little puppy. I've never even seen her like this. Of course, we've only been friends for like three days, or two?

I gave her a thumb up.

"Of course you are! You should be!" She said.

In health class, I sat down in a different seat, far away from Jeffrey. It's not about what happened. I mean, heck! It was just something I was weirded about. It's just about how he always send tingles in my stomach. I came very early, actually. When he came, he gaped at me with suspicion, as he walked over his seat. After being seated, he turned his head, looking at me. I was seated two rows behind him, wanting to be away from his as possible. I didn't look at him. I pretended I was too busy writing something. I knew I can't stand this. Being away from him, and the warmth I always feel whenever he's around. And then--

"Excuse me, but can I sit here? Can you exchange places with me?" I knew it was him. His velvet voice.

"Cool." My seat mate said, catching a glimpse of the guy, he wears glasses. And he kind of looks nerdy.

"Hi." He greeted me with a crooked smile, showing off those glistening teeth and red lips as he puckered them.

I stared at my notebook, feeling absolutely awkward by the mere sight he's giving me.

"Emily." He said. Exchanging 'Hello' for 'Emily'.

"Hey." I said, not taking away my gaze away on my notebook.

"So..are you going to that double-date Sarah set you up?" He asked.

My eyes grew wide. How did he--know that?

"How did you know--know that?" I averted my gaze to him, looking at those blue eyes.

"You didn't answer my question." He said, a smile still formed in his face.

"Okay. Well, yes. I'll go. So now let's go back to my question." I said.

"And what was the question?" He asked.

"How did you know about the--date?" I asked, feeling abashed that he had to witness my agreeing to go to a double-date.

I was waiting for him to answer but he returned it with something that made me feel weak.

"Don't go, Emily. For me." He said. Eyes focused on mine.
