Receptions

I woke up to the sound of the alarm going off. Fred groaned and I stretched across his body to turn it off. I then collapsed onto his body and he groaned again; obviously hungover. I smiled and looked into his eyes. “Good morning.” I said.

“Do you have to say it so loud?” He asked. “I’m right here.”

I laughed softly. “I’ll make you some breakfast, give you a shot of Firewhiskey, and give you an aspirin.”

He groaned. “I’m never drinking again.”

I laughed again. “That’s a lie. You’ll be drinking at the wedding reception.” I got up and headed for the door. “Hurry and get up. We have to be there in two hours.”

He groaned again and I left the room. He was very lazy already but then again it was his hangover. He’d be better once I have him his breakfast. I walked down the stairs and George was still passed out on the couch. I hit his back and he looked up at me. He looked just as horrible as Fred did. “Bloody hell, Aria.” He groaned.

“Get up and clean your puke off my floor.” I told him. “Then come in for breakfast.”

I went into the kitchen and started making a breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and toast. George came in to get cleaning supplies for his puke since his wand was still in my purse upstairs. Fred came in and sat at the table; laying his head on it. I laughed and put his plate down in front of him. I then grabbed a bottle of Firewhiskey out of the fridge, a glass from the cupboard, and aspirin out of the pantry. I poured Fred a shot of Firewhiskey then took out an aspirin.

“Alright. Drink up, eat half of the plate, then take the aspirin with water.” I told him and he lifted his head to do what I told him.

I put down George’s plate and poured him a shot of Firewhiskey and put down an aspirin for him. “George, breakfast!” I yelled and Fred groaned again.

George came in and I told him the same thing I told Fred. I then sat down and started eating breakfast. The boys took their shots and started eating. By the time we were done with breakfast, they were back to normal and were asking questions about the previous night. I explained almost everything to them but what I saw in the garden maze and Fred telling me about his protection spells. He didn’t even remember when we apparated home. He remembered the peacocks in the garden maze and scaring me but after that was blank. So, I just told him we came home, George puked on the floor, and we went to bed. Short, sweet, and best of all, he believed me.

I had the dishes do themselves and left the boys in the kitchen. I went up to my bathroom and took a fast shower before getting ready for Draco’s wedding. He was having me wear a halter red dress that was a little passed my knees caps and was very vintage. I did my hair in curls and put on my makeup quickly. I then slipped into the dress and needed help to zip it up. I put on my black heels, transferred everything from my purse from the previous night into a different one, and went downstairs to the kitchen. The boys looked at me and I said, “Help me zip this up.” I walked over to Fred and turned around.

“Ok.” He stood up and zipped up the dress. I felt his finger trace my heart scar and I grinned. He kissed the scar and I closed my eyes to enjoy the moment.
