A Worst Nightmare Comes to Life

            “Mumma, I want a sandwich.” Maria told me as I went to make lunch the next day.

            “Ok, Sweetie.” I said and got out the bread. “Go play and I’ll call you when it’s ready.”

            She ran out of the kitchen and I started making lunch. Fred was at work and I was home with the kids. I was still worried about what Raychel was gonna do but tried not to think about it. Fred told me him and George put up more protection spells but I felt like they weren’t going to work. Raychel would get through them and to us. I shook the thought from my mind and continued making the ham sandwiches.

            “Make one for me.” Draco said and I looked up to see him standing at the counter.

            I smiled at him and said, “Hey. When did you get here?”

            “Just now.” He answered. “I came to visit.”

            “Good. Then I can tell you that I had a vision yesterday.”

            His eyes widened. “You did? What about?”

            “Raychel was telling me the same things over again but she said she’d see us soon.” I sighed. “Fred was with me when I had it.”

            “So did you tell him about the other visions?”

            I shook my head. “No. We talked then I went to bed. She talked about you in the vision. Referred to you as her cousin.”

            “What did she say about me?”

            “Just that she would’ve killed me if it wasn’t for you.”

            He rolled his eyes. “Doubt that would’ve happened.”

            “Me too.” I finished the last sandwich. “Kids! Lunch!” I yelled and put the sandwiches on the table.

            The girls ran into the kitchen and I went to get Nick out of the play pin. “What does Fred think of it?”

            “He just put up more protection spells but I doubt it’s gonna work.” I brought Nick into the kitchen. “Raychel just keeps getting through them.” I gave Nick some baby food.

            “Hopefully these ones work.”

            I nodded. “Yeah.” I said but I was still doubtful.

            “Mum, can we play tag after lunch?” Katie asked.

            “Yeah.” I answered and smiled at her.

            “Is Uncle Draco gonna play?” Maria asked and looked at Draco.

            “Of course I am.” Draco told her. “I’m the kind of tag.”

            I raised an eyebrow. “Really?”

            He nodded. “Yes.”

            “We’ll just have to see about that.”

            After lunch, I had the dishes clean themselves and took the kids outside with Draco. I sat up a blanket for Nick to be on and gave him some toys before we started playing tag. Maria and Katie decided I was it and we started. I chased the girls around and got Katie then ran from her. She ran after Maria and I watched them play. Draco stood by me and a smile was on his face.
