Hell. That's the only way I can describe the torture that calls itself High School. Many devil's reside in this habitat. Wicked cheerleaders that care more about parties and physical beauty than grades, the bully jocks that will destroy anything in their way as well as probably never picking up a book in their lives, and evil teachers that suck the joy out of life by monotone voices that deafen our ears and pile of homework at the ready. And let's not forget the ones right at the bottom of the food chain. The nerds that have no social life whatsoever, the geeks who stay away from people in general, and the naive and gullible; so easily manipulated. Poor them. But just know one thing...
I'm not one of them... I hate it all.
Ever since I was old enough to read, I would read all day long. I used to spend most of my time in the library or my study with my head buried in a book. As I got older I started to realise that most of the teen books I read were pretty similar. At that point I could just tell the book's ending just as I started reading it.
Bad boys with good girls, players with nerds it all became a common thing to write about. Black leather jackets for the players and bad boys, oversized jumpers and grandma like closet for the good girls and nerds... I mean cmon, the world doesn't work like that I'm sure we girls own normal clothes not the ones we got from our grandma closet... Tall guys that reach up to 6'3 and short girls reaching barely 5'3... I don't think a one foot difference is normal, not all girls are this short!... Dumb guys and super smart girls.. Yeah right and why do the smartest girls make the stupidest mistakes ever that if it would be my case I would call the police!
For me it just doesn't make sense why do people don't think logically? I mean I get it some say they are blinded by 'love' some are just looking for the cliché life, but when your next door neighbour bad boy literally breaks into your room I don't think the girl should just let him be.. Call the freaking police woman! and stop acting so brave, you're meant to be the shy smart girl, not the next badass supergirl!
I, Alexa Candice Merval, refuse to live by the cliché world rules and will try to do everything in my power to stop it from happening to me.
