Running. That's all I can do now. I quickly jump off and over the couch and sprint up the stairs hoping that maybe luck will be on my side, and I can get to my room and lock the door before he gets to me.

Now, I bet you guys are wondering who it is I'm running from and why they're chasing me! Wellll, I may or may not have stolen the last chip from my brother, Jason, after we agreed we'd split it.. Which is why he's chasing me now. So I guess this is my fault but it was well worth it!

Quickly getting lost in thought, I trip over the edge of the carpet that happened to be sticking up. Before I can get a chance to heave myself up and start running again, my brother's tall form is standing over me laughing.

"Nice try Coralie!! You know you can't escape me!"

"Poo.." I mutter, sighing dramatically at my failed escape attempt.

"Poo's right!!" Jason says grinning down at me.

He kneels beside me while grabbing my side and starts tickling me viscously to the point where I actually might pee my pants.

"Noooo!!!" I yell while laughing and trying to push his hands away.

"I'll only stop if you go buy me a whole bag of chips from the store!" He says while grinning evilly.

"Fine!!!! Goddamn man!!! All you had to do was ask!!!" I say while huffing in defeat. "Do I have to do it now though? Lilah was hoping I could let her go play outside in the forest for a bit, after being a couch potato all day."

"I guess you can wait, but don't think I won't forget about them!" He then gets up and walks back downstairs to continue watching TV, leaving me here sprawled out on the floor.

Standing up, I quickly give the end of the carpet that tripped me the middle finger, then I walk downstairs following my brothers path till I get to the front door. I slip on my converse and exit the house closing the door behind me, while mind linking my parents that I'll be in the forest. After getting their response which consisted of 'Be safe Coralie, don't try climbing anymore trees!', (God, get stuck in a tree one time and I'm never living it down.) I make my way around to the back yard. Why I didn't just leave through the back door? The world will never know.

Once I reach the cover of trees, I glance back at my house. Well I call it a house anyway. It's more of a mansion, because it's the pack house, although only the leaders of the pack stay there.

Obviously the alpha, then beta, gamma, the top 3 warriors, and of course their families. My dad happens to be the beta so that's why we're there. The rest of the pack lives around the pack house and all together we live surrounded by forests and would basically be in the middle of nowhere if it wasn't for a town a few miles down the main road.

I turn and start making my way into the forest then find a big tree and make sure no one else is around me.

After seeing the coast is clear, I strip out of my clothes, and quickly shift into my wolf, Lilah. I don't believe I've mentioned it before but I'm the runt of our pack, so Lilah's smaller than everyone else's wolf.

I'm fine with that though, because I'm still just as fast and strong as the others.

Letting her take control, she makes us start running around and chasing anything that catches her attention. She quickly takes notice of the little brown bunny that's watching us cautiously, so she slows down and eyes the bunny for a moment, before sprinting right at it.

Of course the bunny takes off running, trying to get to it's rabbit hole, or some other shelter, before it gets eaten. But Lilah wasn't going to eat it she just wanted to play!
