I walked through the open door. My incompetence to actually converse with another human being was really ticking me off. I brought my hands to my face and let them drag down, pulling my features abnormally. My hands fell down to my sides limply, I am such an awkward person.

Gerard was still in the other room, I assumed he felt a bit weirded out by my behaviour so just ignored me. I wanted him to come in and comfort me, I wanted him to not care about my socially corrupted side. I needed him to care about me.

The drawing, all be it faded, was still plastered over the wall. My distinct features glaring back at me, it was sinisterly creepy. Is that what I actually look like? Urgh. My face fell into a frown that looked extremely unattractive.

"You should smile more" came the voice from behind me. I sprang to my toes and whipped around.

Gerard was smirking his ass off, stood there propped up against the door frame. I blinked a few times. Gerard had a tinge of pink colour in his cheeks. I too was blushing, yet again.

"Don't say anything Frankie" Gerard whispered. Piercing his eyes into mine, I know what you're feeling. I obeyed and kept my mouth shut tight. I struggled to keep my eyes up, Gerards stance, tight jeans and breathtaking body begged me to lower my eye site. But I didn't.

He sauntered over, the smirk still clean on his face. The flush of pink was hanging there on his cheeks. I admired it, as I said before I liked it when Gerard blushed. It gave him a sense of vulnerability against the top layer of psychopath he bared. He moved his hand towards my neck slowly, keeping the eye contact. I tried to slow my breathing as Gerard crept his hand around the back of my head.

Our faces were so close his breath hot on my lips.

"I want you to know Frankie"

Yes, keep talking. Keep talking I want to hear your voice talking to me, I need your voice through my thoughts.

"I want you to know that, I will get us out of here" he cupped my face and pressed his forehead to mine "I promise." The glitter in his eyes passed straight through my soul. I trusted him. Silly really, we've only known each other for 3 weeks and I already put my complete faith in him.

He dropped his hands, I thought he was going to walk away but he gripped my waist and pulled me close. Our bodies flush together. He brushed a finger over my hair and lowered his eyelids to look at my lips.

I caressed his lower back, feeling underneath his rough jacket. His skin was soft and warm I traced in a circle with my fingers. Gerard liked it. He reached to my face again before running his hand to the back of my head and pulling me in, his lips caught mine perfectly. The moist fluids switching from each of our mouths slowly. This moment was perfect, the kiss was different than before, it was slower and more elegant, rather than being hot and messy as per last time. Not that there is anything wrong with hot and messy.

I felt strangely different as Gerard pulled away, the rush of excitement like the last kiss had faded and what's left was a pure feeling of... Romance? Woah.

Gerard licked his lips and brought his eyes up to meet mine in a casual gaze before speaking in a soft tone "I want to show you something Frankie"

I nodded instantly and said "yes, anything" he had me wrapped around his finger like a cat to a milk bowl. I followed him into the sleeping area. He paused when he reached the sink.

My lips were still wet with the excess saliva my mouth had decided to produce, it tasted of Gerard. I blinked a few times before looking to Gerard and said "what do you want to show me?" I anticipated to him leaning forward.

Gerard smirked again, his lips pressed together in a twisted smile. He looked to the tap and stepped back, he braced his foot and narrowed his eyes before saying "trust me?"

"Always" I exhaled Quickly as I waited for Gerards movement.

"Then when the door opens you run Frankie, you run and you don't look back" Gerard lifted his foot up and smaked it hard against the tap: it broke, of course. Water began to spurt out the cracked and damaged metal.

Gerard rushed towards me, his eyes wide with mixed emotions. The door to our cell opened as Gerard whispered the words "10"

10? What... My mind dazzled as Gerard took my hand and pulled me out the door. His hand was hot and damp, he was sweating slightly.

It all went so fast, I was being pulled by a rather fast and athletic Gerard. He didn't look that athletic, he was fit.

We dashed part the white walls, Gerards eyes darted around the place and hurried footsteps sounded from behind us.

"This way!" Gerard whispered as he pulled me around the corner and into, what looked like a janitors closet. It was small and cramped, I was flushed with warmth as my body was pressed against Gerards suddenly.

He didn't notice me gazing at his beautiful face, he was too busy focusing on getting us out of here. His features glistened slightly against the dim light that filtered through the crack in the door. Fuck me I could stare at his face for an eternity and never get bored.

The footsteps faded away outside leaving the sound of our hot breaths in time with each other's. Gerard turned his head to see me starting directly into his eyes, he tinged with pink slightly and said "oh Frankie don't make me blush now".  His voice keeping me locks onto his gaze.

I smiled a small smile and said "you're just too pretty" my cheeks feeling hot from the redness.

Gerard reached for my hands and cupped them with his. He brought them to his face and kissed them gently. Staring his Hazel pools into my green irises he whispered softly "don't ever leave me. Promise?"

That was random, but, Gerard was a random person who possessed some psychiatric ability to read a persons body and mind so, I guess random for him was normal. I could only nod and whisper back "never ever."

There was a brief moment of bliss where me and Gerard gazed into each other's souls. But it ended as quickly as it started when Gerard flung the door open and raced out, leaving me dashing after him frantically trying to keep up.

The walls turned red again, like they did the first time I saw Gerard. And soon after the alarm bells began to ring. Panic overthrew my mind as we ran and ran down the seemingly endless corridors. I was about to give up hope when Gerard shouted "there!"

He pointed to a fire exit door, the green sign above was lit up invitingly as we drew closer.

Gerard slammed his hands into the door that began to open slowly, we slipped through the door and out into the open.

Wow fresh air! I haven't breathed fresh air for 2 years, it smelt so different to how I remember, it was very dry and dusty with a hint of smoke. It smelt amazing.

Gerard shut the door behind him quickly and rested his hands on his knees "thank you Frankie" his eyes cast apon the ground.

I smiled up at him, my happiness radiating from ear to ear. "What did you mean by 10?" I asked without hesitating.

"I'll tell you later Frankie" he winked as he stood up straight and tall, the sun, the real sun illuminated Gerards outline beautifully he looked breathtakingly perfect, like a work of art against the barren wasteland we once called our home.
