The weapons shelters were fully built now and stocked with all sorts of guns and swords and stuff. Literally anything was being used - Gerard even had me sharpening long branches to use as spears. I felt like I was in the 1680s!

At this moment in time was changing into my night wear - yeah I may only have 2 sets of clothes and 1 is a sleeping pair but everything here gets washed daily. We take turns washing them in the lake using the sap from the ash trees and the lavender scent from the bushes which gives a soft fragrant smell.

M sleeping clothes consisted of the trousers from the prison and one of Gerards old t shirts. I admit it was a little bit too big for me and my small frame but it was super comfy and smelt like him even still.

We of course shared the Same room, and yes.. Same bed. But what we get up to during the nights is our business and no one else's! Especially not Petes. Ever since he kissed me I felt strange and uncomfortable. But I tried to brush it off each day.

I finished changing and opened the door that led to the platform that connected all the shelters. Dallons was opposite, which I was glad as he was sound a chill person who literally got along with anyone.

I stepped out and made my way to the stream where the clean and fresh water that had been filtered through a series of rocks and stones. I out my hands to the water and cupped a handful, letting them submerge in the cold liquid I brought them up to my face and splashed the freshening fluid over my features. The icy water fell off as I shook my head letting it dry naturally.

To the side there was. A brush like stick that had been shredded to create bristles and a small pile of charcoal, the charcoal acted like toothpaste. The ions or something in it neutralise the plaque Gerard said. I didn't understand I just nodded and agreed, like I did most times when Gerard made a clever comment.

I picked up the brush and dipped it in the charcoal and then the water, before putting it to my mouth. It tasted real bad, but I didn't mind as I knew it was cleaning my teeth.

I finished and spat out the black powered substance before rinsing my mouth out with clean water and laying the brush back down.

I looked out into the forest, it's leaves caught a dusky glow as the sun began setting of er the land.

I decided to head back, there was a cool breeze that just set my teeth on edge. I got up and walked briskly back to the shelter, I huddled my arms to my chest as I reached the door.

Gerard was inside already lying on the bed. Although he was sleeping I could see his arm outstretched waiting for me to join him. I slithered into the other side and made my self  comfy inside the cove Gerard made with his warm body. I felt his arm clasp around my body as we spooned, times like these made me so happy to be alive I wanted the moment to last forever.
