Its the Yule ball in a couple of days... I'm wanting George to ask me out. Maybe it can be like one of those Muggle princess fairytales.
"Get ready to go to DADA!" my friend Ash tells me.
"Okay, one moment!" shes my best frienemie. (idk how to spell that sorry)
I'm done getting ready and I walk down the stairs and see George Weasley, he's talking to Angelina. Of course! She knows I like him.
"So ha ha- George," she try's to flirt but... she's horrible! Then George sees me. "Oh! Laken! Hi there!" George says.
"H- hi George! How are y-you doing today?" I say. "I'm fine, you?"
"Yeah, umm..." I look over and see Angelina giving me the death glare. I mentally smack her.
"Yeah, I got to go to class... see you later at the Great Hall? Sit next to me?" he asked me.
I was shocked, yes, we were friends but he didn't really talk to me.
"Yeah, sure! I'd love to!" I said that a bit to happily.
-Time Skip To The Great Hall Brought To You By Fred And George's Cute Face-
I sit in a seat next to Fred and George, Angelina seems to be sitting with them too across the table. Great! *Sarcasm*
"Hey Laken!" Fred says to me.
"Hi Freddie!" I smile.
"So Georgie... would you like to go to the ball with me? Hmm...?" asked Angelina smirking, "Sorry, Angie... I want to ask a certain girl to the ball. Sorry." he says. Fred smirks at me and Angie.
"Laken, would you came with me?" asked Fred.
I nodded. We went out to the corridor and Fred began to talk.
"So, Laken... George likes this girl and he doesn't know how to ask her to the ball. Do you have anything that you could recommend?" he asks.
"Um..." I was heart-broken. What would I want if he were to ask me to the ball? "I'd want traditional, but every girls taste is different. I guess..." My voice began to crack.
"Okay, thanks Laken!" he said hugging me.
"Oh, um, n-no pr-problem.." I said, my eyes watering. He walked away, thankfully my eyes stopped watering. I decided to act like the mature Ravenclaw I am.
"Laken!" it was George.
"Oh, hi again." I say.
"Hey, I was wondering if you would like to... go to the ball with me?" he asked nervously.
"Yes!" I said a bit too happily again. (tbh I would act like this on the inside but play it cool on the outside)
"Yeah, I actually was hiding behind that wall and listening in the conversation. Heh, yeah." he chuckle.
"Well, you are the Prank King..." I chuckled also.
-Time Skip To The Yule Ball Brought To You By The Weasley Family-
Ash helped me get ready, she couldn't come because she was a 3rd year. If someone asked her to go then she could go. I feel bad for her.
"I really feel bad that your not coming." I told her.
"No, don't, I didn't want to go anyway. I'm not into that stuff anyways." she said.
She was curling my hair and did a braid crown. (the one in the picture)

When I was done I walked down the steps that led to the Yule Ball. George and Fred turned around and looked at me. Fred was with Katie Bell.
"Laken! You look beautiful! Stunning really!" George said.
"Well you look spiffing!" I said.

The slow dance was about to start. George grabbed my hand. He rest his hands on my hips, my hands around his neck, I lay my head on his chest.
He lifted up my head, moved a piece of my hair out of my face, he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back.
"I've been wanting to do that ever since 1st year." he chuckled. His laugh was adorable.
We kissed again.
This was the start of an amazing fairytale.
