Chapter Twenty-Nine: Just Friends

My birthday kept going, even after the boys stopped playing and we just had music from the DJ. I opened up presents after everyone had finished eating cake. They made me sit on the stage with Sarah while Jaesin and Steph passed my presents to me. Mostly I got gift cards and some random clothes and shoes. Honestly, half of the stuff I got would probably end up sitting in my closet until I wouldn't feel so bad giving it away or Steph would end up with it.

"Alright, this one is from Tia, Steph, Jaesin, and I. We all pitched in." Sarah smiled at me as she handed me the bag I had seen her try to hide earlier that morning. "I believe its your second to last gift because I think the boys have something for you too." I took the bag from her and it actually had a bunch of stuff in it. 

I pulled out the first thing and saw that there were two of the same t-shirts in the bag. They were disney shirts that said Besties on them. They had the Mickey Mouse characters on them (i.e. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy). I looked up at Sarah and wrinkled my eyebrows. She waved her hands at me as if to say keep going. 

I pulled out the next thing and it was a guys shirt that said Dope in the Disney writing and it had Mickey's gloves on it. 

Alright, I'm confused.

I pulled the next thing out and ended up with three headbands. Two of them were the Minnie Mouse ears and one was Mickey Mouse ears. 

Then, as if it wasn't weird enough, I pulled a bag out of the bag. It had the Disney castle and characters on it. 

I pulled out two of the same pairs of sunglasses. They had the Minnie Mouse polka dots on them. 

I found a little box that looked like a jewelry box and opened that next. It had two necklaces, BFF necklaces, that had Ariel and Flounder on them from The Little Mermaid along with Minnie Mouse earrings. 

Then I pulled out a watch that had Mickey on it. 

The last thing I pulled out was a Minnie Mouse iPhone case. 

I looked up at Sarah. "Did you find the pattern?" She asked and smiled.

"Disney?" I stated the one word as a question and her smile broadened. 

"Exactly. And these go along with all of it." She told me and handed me three small pieces of paper. I looked at them and—

"Tickets to Disney World!" I looked up at Sarah again.

"You, Jaesin, and Steph leave right after school on Tuesday and come back Friday." Sarah told me.

"But wait, theres more." I heard Louis say into the microphone. "Steph clued Harry into what they were getting you and we figured, hey we're supposed to be hanging out with you so the five of us also got tickets to go with you."

"And wait, because there is even more than that," Liam started. "We also got tickets for Sarah and Tia."

"And because everyone else was coming and got something out of this," Zayn looked over to Sarah. "We sent a ticket to Andrew to come out too because we know you've been missing your fiancé." 

"You boys didn't have to do that."

"We wanted to." Niall told Sarah.

"Well thank you." Sarah smiled at the boys.

"Happy Birthday Alix." Steph came up on the stage with me and I stood to give her a hug. "I hope you like your gifts."

"I love them. And I'm so glad we're all going."

"We have to go through and see what we want to do each day. Theres so much stuff theres no way we're getting it all done in that amount of time. We're going to get there late on Tuesday and we have to remember its three hours later in Florida." Steph told me as we picked up the wrapping paper and bags that filled the stage.
