During first period, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I looked up at my teacher and then saw Steph looking at me. I looked down at the message.

Hey (: -Niall My eyes widened. What? How…? He had my phone and must have texted himself. I look to Steph again as I sighed. She raised her eyebrows. I sent her a message.

A: Its Niall. He texted me.

S: How did he get your number?

A: I dropped my phone on the couch this morning, he picked it up. He must have texted himself from my phone.

S: See! He does like you!

A: Steph, you are insane. Truly insane!

S: Soooo

A: So what?

S: TEXT HIM BACK!!! I rolled my eyes at her and put my phone away. Pretending to listen through the rest of class, I ignored Steph and her pleading eyes.

As soon as the bell rang she was up. "You have to answer him!" I sighed at her. "He knows you read his message. He has an iPhone and he can see! Thats so mean." She said putting her hands on her hips.

"Steph, I'm at school." I glared at her. "Jaesin, help me out here." I stared at our other friend. He put his hands up.

"Either way, I'm going to get into a fight with one of you, so I refuse to say anything." He walked out of the classroom and I glared after him. I ran my hands through my hair and looked at Steph as we walked out of the classroom.

"Fine." I gave in, pulling my phone out of my pocket. I opened Niall's text and read it again.

N: Hey (: -Niall

A: Hey I typed and showed Steph as soon as I sent it. "No smiley?" She said.

"No." I scowled. She rolled her eyes.

"If he talks to you, you better answer him. I want to see at lunch." We went our separate ways to class. I sat down in my seat for Spanish and my phone buzzed.

N: I was worried you weren't going to respond.

A: I wasn't going to. Steph forced me.

N: Oh ):

A: Its nothing personal. Just, you kind of stole my number.

N: You dropped your phone. Wasn't my fault I accidentally typed my number in. :p

A: Accident? Yeah, I'm sure.

N: How's school?

A: Its school.

N: Funny. What class are you in?

A: You ask a lot of questions. I almost put a smiley face, but I decided against it.

N: You don't answer them very often.

A: Spanish, if you must know.

N: Ah, I see. Very interesting.

A: I guess so.

N: So if your friend made you respond the first time, whats making you respond now? Should I tell him just because Steph is going to look at lunch? I don't want to make him feel too bad.
