Chapter 6: The Past Is Always Painful

*Roku's POV*

I was walking the halls of our school with my two friends and Chris. Andy and the others didn't come to school today but Chris did which shocked us all since he was the only one out of the five to show up. He said the others would come in late that they needed to do something for Jamie and Nick before coming. He only got out of it because he was still newer then the rest of them. And his gifted was only being really strong, not as gifted as the others. Ashley on the other hand wasn't having a good day. It was the day he was turned and he still had issues with it. Guess it wasn't a good way that he was changed.

"You know Chloe, you should try and talk to him. I mean think about it, Ashley likes you." I smiled at her and she blushed.

"I don't know how my family will feel about me dating a vampire." She sighed a bit. "Or I would be with him in a heart beat."

"He does like you, just like Andy likes Cambria. But hey I didn't say that!" Chris just smirked at us, he loved letting things slip like that. Though I could tell he had a thing for me. Only problem is, my parents would burn him alive for being with me. He would find himself chain to the pole out in my backyard and being set on fire. I couldn't see that happening to him. though there was something about him that pulled me to him. "Roku, are you okay? You're kinda just staring at me and it's a bit creepy." He laughs and smiles.

"Just thinking, so tell me, there was a vampire back when I was little that saved my life, was it you?" He froze a bit. "Julia told me, she said she seen you and Andy there. The vampires name was Scott and he was with the guys that own the club and that turned Jake and Jinxx. You know, we never heard your story or Ashley's or Andy's." We went to the outside lunch tables and just sit down for lunch.

"Ashley and Andy's stories are not mine to tell, and you all know what happen to Jinxx and Jake because Ella and Alice told you all." He sat down with us and just sighed. "As for my story, I don't think you guys would want to hear it. I mean I hate reliving it. It's totally different then the others. My story, I was meant to die but Andy saved me. He also teach me something very important too. No matter how painful is was, lesson learn." I just looked at him and he seem to zone out.

"Guess you're really not ready to tell the story?" He just shook his head. "Please just tell us, I mean we are going to find out all your stories sooner or later. So maybe just telling us would be good now." I just looked at him and he seemed to zone out. I wonder what he was thinking about.

*CC's POV*

I could feel their eyes on me, they were waiting for me to tell my story. I remember is as clear as day. I just sighed and looked at them all. "You all really want to know?" They nodded and I just sighed. "It's not a nice story....not a nice one at all. Though it goes back to my hometown of LA." I just took a deep breath before I felt Roku's hand on mine under the table so that no one could see her holding my hand. I looked at her and she nodded letting me know she will stop me if it gets too bad. I smiled softly before just going back to that day.

*Flash back*

I was working all day at the hospital in LA. I couldn't find a band that was right for me and I wanted to try and get into a band that was well known. I know there was one band that just lost their drummer, I was going to go for that one but then I seen this ad and my friend was leaving her band to another one. It was her band that was the ad for. So I was going to go for that one. But as I was getting ready to leave, my boss wanted me to fill up all the vans to make sure they had gas for when we needed them. So one by one I was doing that. As I got back into the parking area. I seen shadows moving around in the parking lot. I seen ghost, so it wasn't anything new to me. I thought it was ghost messing with me again.
