From Within Secrets (Bvb Story)

Chapter 2: 11 Years Later....

*Roku's POV*

It was my first day of 11th grade, I couldn't wait to be around my friends again. I was 17 and my parents told me about the world of the vampires when I was 10. I didn't trust them at first but I made really good friends with some of them. My brother was iffy about it at first but went he realized that they were actually friends with me that he calm down. I did have my human friends too but we hid the fact that I had vampire friends from our parents. Even Kyraiei and Aiden had friends that were vamps too, though they used them to find things out about others or when the bad vamps came into town. In other words they were info vamps, ones hunters use to get what they wanted and had trackers on them to know where they were at all times. Yeah, my family did use vampire for that. You learn to live with them and as soon as you tell them they don't attack others, you don't have to kill them. There are bad ones out there though. Just they don't come to schools looking for people. I walked to my locker and was putting things away when Caiden came up to bug me. He was a half breed. He had the fangs of a vampire but he was more human then vamp. Though he was the best guy friend to have and my parents never seem to mind him even with the fangs.

"So did you hear there is new kids coming to the school? I don't know who they are yet, but I heard my mom talking to the office people about it." His mother was the human that worked at the school in the office all day. So he always found out everything. His dad was a vampire, though was killed when some bad ones came into town. Some vampires try to protect the town, it's the only town so far that allows humans, half breeds and vampires to live together, but end up dying when the wrong group comes.

"I'm sure you know that. Hey, here comes Wyatt." I smirked a bit when he blushed and hid behind me. See, Caiden was gay, and his crush, Wyatt, a vampire here and one of my other friends. Caiden could never tell Wyatt that he was crushing on him but I'm sure Wyatt knew. Vampires did have their tricks. Both single, and both not wanting to date girls . I seen him wink at Caiden and I just had him clinging to me tighter.

"Roku...tell him to go away!" I sighed, Caiden whine a bit too much for my liking at times but I love him as a brother anyways.

"Caiden, you really need to stop whining dude. I mean really, you're a half breed and you act like you're not!" I looked up to see Zeric and Letitia, they were two out of three hunters in my school that don't mind mixing it up and hanging with half breeds and vampires. They were a couple and two more of my friends.

"I'm not whining, why do you all think I'm whining!" Caiden could get a little over emotional at times. All the guys in our group thought it was fun to pick on him.

"Maybe because you are fun to mess with? I mean you get all upset over nothing but a few words." I backed away and stand next to Chloe and Cambria. These two were closer to me then the others. But then again I known them my whole life since school started. The others just slowly became friends and let Seth pick at Caiden a bit more. I knew Kaia would step in. Seth might have been a vampire, but Kaia was a half breed just as strong, and his girlfriend.

"Seth you better lay off of him. He's going to kick you ass again." Julia smirked, another hunter that didn't mind vamps or half breeds. Hell she went as far as hooking up with Lydia who was full vampire. Her parents tried to get her out of it but Julia flat out told them that she will make Lydia turn her and make them kill her if they did anything about it. Slowly they began to like Lydia and now they don't even mind her. Wish my parents were like that. They were okay for us being friends with half breeds but not vampires. Still hiding that one from them, only Aiden and Kyraiei knows about that.

"I think he needs his ass kicked again. Maybe he will learn." Kaia just yawned and lean against the wall waiting for it to come.

"Bet you all $10, that Caiden is going to knock him on his ass and keep him there until someone breaks them up." Lydia just giggled. Yes, Julia and Lydia were both girls.
