I focused on the homemade dummy, kicking at its side with a grunt. We had been back for two days now, and Daryl had only talked to me once, but it was just a quick 'morning' as he passed.

I had to admit, it infuriated mean. How could he kiss me and then act as though I were invisible? I punched the dummy hard where the jaw would be, letting all my frustration out. I hadn't realized I was being watched until the familiar southern drawl spoke out. "What'd he do t'ye?"

I turned to see Daryl, arms crossed and leaning against the cell's door frame. I scoffed, "The person I'm picturing deserves it." I turn back around, "What do you want Daryl? Kinda busy." I muttered harshly, and I could hear his footsteps as he moved closer to me.

His hand wrapped around mine as I moved to punch the dummy again, and I could feel his warm breath as it hit the back of my neck. "Ye gonna bruise yer hands if ye keep doing that." His voice was gruff and low, sending shivers down my spine. "How else am I going to calm down?"

He turned me around so that I faced him. That's when I snapped, pushing him away. "No, don't touch me! Dammit Daryl, why are you so irritating?" His jaw clenched as he watched my outburst, his eyes holding mine. "I'm irritating? Hell, yer the one throwing a fit!"

I let out an exasperated groan throwing my hands in the air, "And you're the one ignoring me! What did I do? You kissed me, I kissed back. There's nobody to blame but yours-" He let out a growl, pushing me hard against the wall as his lips crushed mine.

I gasped in surprise as his mouth worked against mine passionately, as if proving some unknown point. His hands held the sides of my face as his tongue slipped through my parted lips, deepening the kiss. I groaned into the kiss, the feeling of his scruff against my face, his hot breath and the way he held me driving me crazy.

He pulled back, giving me one last peck before before walking out. "Daryl, wait!" I called out breathlessly and he stopped, turning his head. "Stay with me?" With a quick nod, he stepped back in, and I led him to my bed.
