Namjoon: um...can we skype I need to talk to you
Lucy: are you okay?
Namjoon: i guess..I just need to talk to you about something
Lucy: are you gonna break up with me??

Lucy: wait you're gonna break up with me?
Lucy: Namjoon

"Babe, look-"
"Namjoon, just tell me if you're breaking up with me." Lucy interrupted.
"I- look...I love you."
"But?"
"But I feel like maybe this isn't working out that well."
"What do you mean?" She furrowed her brows.
"Time zones, I'm an idol so I have busy schedules and I feel like I can't always be there for you like I know I should be. I can't give you what you need, princess." He explained.
"Don't call me that right now, Namjoon." She said sternly.
"I'm sorry."
"So you're breaking up with me because you feel like you aren't giving me what I need?"
"..yes." He spoke hesitantly.
"Well what if I don't want to break up? What if I think we're perfectly fine? I'm happy Namjoon, you make me so fucking happy and you do everything in your power to be there for me and that's perfect. As long as you're trying, everything about us is perfect." She argued, trying to stop herself from crying.
"Lucy, please just..I don't think that it's working. The last time we properly spoke was a week ago. A week."
"Okay? What's your point? You have been busy being an idol and shit like that. I understand that, it doesn't bother me because you still texted me goodnight every night."
"You're not understanding."
"No, I'm not. Because you're not making sense, Namjoon. What's really the reason you're breaking up with me?"
"The company is making me." There it was.
"Oh? Fuck the company. If you're happy in this relationship then why should they be able to dictate whether you're dating someone or not?"
"I signed a contract with them two years ago. I'm not allowed to date for another year and a half.."
"That's stupid."
"I know."
"What don't you just date me anyways in secret and tell them you broke up with me?"
"Because they would find out and then I'd get in a lot of trouble. We can still be friends...just not date." Really?
"I can't do that again." She shook her head.
"Be friends with me?"
"No. I want to be your girlfriend, being your friend would just be weird at this point."
"So we just aren't gonna talk?"
"I...guess not. Bye Namjoon." And with that she hung up, closing her laptop and then crawling into bed. She curled up into a ball and cried.
