-Obi-

"It would be a better idea to just let him go."

My eyes turned blurry and I could only make out Zens white hair and the case that held his sword at his side.

"Look who shows up, exactly who we wanted to see."

I watched worriedly as the two approached Zen, but he made quick work of them, tying them up before coming to get me. He took the cloth out of my mouth, then cut the restraints, picking me up.

I coughed a bit, then held my aching stomach.

"Just rest for now Obi, you did good."

I was shocked at his words at first, but fell asleep on the way back to camp.

"Obi, wake up, were here."

Just as he said that I heard someone yell, "Obi!"

I turned to see three people running towards me. "He's fine guys, just a little beat up."

Zen walked past them, setting me down on a softer patch of grass. Shirayuki walked over, starting to clean and dress my wounds.

"Sorry." I said lowly.

She paused, looking down at me. "What are you sorry for?"

"For being weak and unable to finish them off."

Zen walked over, looking down at me, "Obi, you did your best, that's all that matters. Now rest up, we'll hold off for a day and then continue."

I felt a stabbing pain in my shoulder and grabbed it, clenching my teeth.

"Obi! What's wrong?!" Shirayuki asked.

'The blade was poisioned.'

"The blade the man had, it was poisioned."

She looked a bit shocked at first, but then looked over to Zen, "I need the sword so I can tell what kind of poison was used."

"Its fine Shirayuki. I can handle a bit of poison."

She looked at me worriedly, then at Zen. It was Kiki who spoke up however. "Deadly or not it could slow down the trip, putting us in danger Obi."

Mitsuhide nodded, "Come on Zen, let's find the sword."

The two went off, returning a half hour later with a shortsword in Mitsuhides hand. I looked at it for a second, then the days events wore at my consciousness, taking it away.

-Zen-

I watched Obi fall asleep and Shirayuki got to work, breaking down the poison bases.

"I'm heading out to get us something to eat." I turned, starting to walk away.

"I'm going to go with him." Mitsuhide started walking after him. "Watch over them Kiki."

Kiki said ok, then we set off. I looked around, finding the tracks to a deer. "This should be fun." I said.

Mitsuhide pulled out one of Obi's daggers, "Yeah."

We followed the tracks, seeing it lead to a herd of them. I sighed annoyedly. We turned back, seeing a small pond. I grabbed a sharp stick, looking at Mitsuhide. "Whoever gets the most fish wins."

He smiled, picking up his own stick. "Ready?"

I nodded, "Go."

We took off our clothes, running and jumping into the water (they have underpants on. Don't get too excited fan girls).

Instead of catching the fish, Mitsuhide and I just messed around in the water, forgetting about the food.

"Zen, let's get some fish and head back, Kiki's gonna have out heads." Mitsuhide laughed.

I nodded, smiling, "Ok. Last fish loses."

We caught a few fish, using a considerable amount of energy, and headed back to the camp.

"You guys look like you had fun." Kiki said, glancing at our wet hair.

I nodded my head smiling, then I looked over, seeing Obi laying in the grass, asleep.

"He's doing alright for now." Shirayuki walked over to his side, placing the back of her hand on his forehead. "The fever has gone down and he seems to have chased away most of the toxins on his own. We won't know fully about if they're gone or not until he wakes up again."

I nodded, "Thanks Shirayuki."

She smiled up at me, nodding.
"You guys should get some rest too. You've been riding for a while, haven't you?"

I nodded,"Yeah. Mitsuhide, Kiki, you guys get some rest. I'll watch over camp for now."

Mitsuhide seemed to want to stay up but went over and layed down reluctantly. I sat down on a stump, looking up at the night sky, picking out the constellations. Everyone was asleep for now, in each of their own worlds, having the time of their life.

"What one's your favorite?" I head Obi ask me.

"Obi! Go back to sleep!"

"I'm not really good at picking them apart but they're all so bright. They're what lights up the sky at night for people like me."

He ignored me...

"People like you?"

"Assassins, Thiefs, Bandits. You name it."

I sighed a bit, "Go back to sleep Obi."

He laughed a bit, nodding and turning back over. Like he wasn't awake in the first place.
