Today is that day that I try out for J.Y.P. So far they told us is that there looking for 8 girls. Experience is not need. I guess I can use mine to an advantage. There was a line wrapping around that building of nothing but girls. Some where practicing, some where chilling, but most were freaking out. I should be freaking out I'm the only foreigner here and the darkest at that. For Support , Chanyeol was here with me. Some people recognized him and said hi's others just looked and whispers from afar (something I'm already use to now). I stretched a little as the doors opened and line continued in. " Are you nervous" he said not looking at me but at his phone screen. " a little" he nodded putting his phone into his shirt pocket. " Don't be, I know the judges Personally. There cool." He smiled showing his dimples I haven't notice until now. I'm audition with Chanyeol's debut dance. I got permission from the company.

After about a hour of standing in line it was finally my turn. Chanyeol gave me a success speech and sent me on my way. There were five judges, all of them male. three of them looked about my age, maybe older. One of the elders had blond spiky hair. The other one just had black hair.One of the boys That looked around my age had platinum gray hair that's not really knowledgeable because he wore a black Adidas cap over it. He also has a nice smile. " Welcome Elle, I'm J.Y.P, I have with me today Mark Tuan , Park Jin-Young , Jackson Wang. . " Each one of the younger guys raised their hand. " and co CEO Joon Wook" He mimicked the boys and raise his hand too. " we have received a video from Exo's Park Chanyeol of you dancing and I have to say that you pretty good. I said my thank you's and bowed.

He interviewed me for a little and then I had dance. I put all I had into the dance segment. This was is the only thing that I could possibly get to help my mother and I get back financial stable. " How did to lean Korean so well?" J.Y.P asked. I chuckled a little. " I was really into G.O.D when was younger which led me to Korean dramas . So I took it upon self to learn so I wouldn't have to use subtitles." They all chucked." Your accent is just like Marks. Your from California? " Nodding at the question, mark mad a heart with his fingers to me and I did the same. Then eventually I actually auditioned and left.

Walking out the dance room I spot chanyeol signing his name on some papers that some of the girls were handing him. Before I could continue to walk a pale girl with strawberry blonde hair Approached me with her arms folded. As she Now stood in front of me, I said nothing. She studied me before speaking. " Your cute lets be friends. " Very straight forward and English with a hint of accent. She extended her hand and I shook it. "Thanks" I spoke as we both exchanged smiles. " I believe that were both going to make auditions so why not become close now."we both giggled." Kang ji jaegun but my friends in america call me ling" She told me slightly giggling at the nickname. In america most of the girls call other Asian girls ling ling regardless of where your from. I nodded at her." I'm Elle Kim" I wished her luck and exchanged numbers before heading towards chanyeol. He smiled at me before sighing his last paper. He bowed at the ladies and backed up and away from the line.

it's been bout three weeks since the audition and jijaegun and I, have gotten close so its just been Me, chanyeol, and jaygun (as she likes to call her self). Today is the day that me and jay Find out if we made it or not. We wore matching khaki joggers and black long sleeve hoodie crop top. I wore my hair in a loose bun and she wore her's down with a red snap back to match her all red huaraches. Chanyeol said he had practice so he couldn't come. We grabbed out backpack full of necessity that we need if we win ( documents and so forth.)

Once we arrived we checked in we took our seats. JYP took the stand. He greeted us, as a conference room with 250 girls greeted him back. " This is how this will go" he paused." I will call up the girls who made it and the others will get a ticket to audition for S.M entertainment free of charge." The room got chatty as all the girls were satisfied with the agreement. Me and jay held hands anticipating for the names to be called. The first name was called. "lee eun ki .." she was a relevantly short girl with a short black blunt cut. She ran up to the stage and stood next to jyp after giving him a hug and smile. So did the other 3 girls. " Choi min Rae, Seo Cara, terry lan.." me and jay held our breath... that is before hearing my name being called " Kim Elle.." most of the people in this room has never seen black person so I caught a couple of looks but I really couldn't focus on that right now since I was practically running to the stage. JYP let go of the mic just to give me hug. when he let go of me he spoke into the mic and called jay up. I had confidence that she would make it. Out of the the to of us shes the toughest yet she crying as if right now.

After all the paperwork we went to a conference room and try to get to know each other but I could only help to realize that there were only 6 of us. " isn't there suppose to be 8 of us?" I questioned JYP. he nodded and began to speak." we have one coming from Chicago and another from new Zealand. Cassie xiuxum and Beca Wang. Both of Chinese decent so they know very little of Korea." we all nodded. " you guys start training tomorrow at 12:00pm. Junior will meet you guys in the dance room.. ." he handed out more paper work, passed certificates. I'm so ready honestly.
