chapter 4: awake continued

starting off. the last chapter wasn't done. (srry) but now here's the continuation ' I'm getting tired of being asleep'

{in my nightmare}

I walked up next to to Drowzee and immeditly everything went black. A weird swirl of color enveloped me, and I appered in a clearing of a forest.

I looked around to see caves all around me. There were children wearing clothes made out of torn rags. Now that I think of it, the girl I found with Rand was wearing rags too. The eldest of the childen, who was about 16, turned toward me. He looked behind him and yelled something I couldn't quite make out. All the children scambled into all the caves except the top one. The children rolled huge stones infront of the cave entraces. The teen boy glared at me and hopped up into the top cave. He quickly sealed his cave.

I started to turn arhen a small figure streaked quickly, but strangly silently, past me and up to the sealed caves. I came closer to it. I reconized the creature as the young girl I rescued. She was banging on the rocks and was screaming something in a weird language. It looked like she was trying to get into the caves. She turned towards me, her eyes full of fear. She ran up to me and tried to hide behind me. She pointed behind me and I spun around.

The forest was becoming enveloped in a sea of shadows, and a figure was being formed from it. I quickly relized the creature as the pokemon, Darkrai (why couldn't you figure it out Ilovetoread72? It was obvious[lol] ). It was huge, about 50ft bigger than normal. The girl clung to my leg, staring at the Darkrai. She yelled something in the language I mentioned before, probably saying for the Darkai to go away. It's eyes narrowed as it zoomed in on me, and all the shadows retreated from the dream. 'was that darkri?! It looked angry, but why did run?" I thought

The girl cautiously got off my leg and looked around for Darkrai. I placed my hand on her and softly said "It's ok Darkrai's gone now." She looked up "huh?" "Now I need you to wake up." The girl looked worried "R-Rand....sleep?" I frowned "H-How do you know him?" "Ranger" I was confused with her answer "I'm asking, Who are you and how do you know Rand?" She smiled and pointed to herself "Sparker." Sparker paused momentarily, like she was trying to gather words to say. " Rand said at me (aka. Rand told me)"

I was just about to speak up, when a small portal appeared. Sparker walked carfully up to it and examined the portal. After a minute she spoke up "Rand" "He's though there?" She nodded excitedly. I began to walk towards the portal but Drowzee held me back. Sparker said something in that odd launguage and touched the portal. The second she touched the portal, she disappeared.

Immedietly the dream began to fade. Drowzee touched my arm to say it was time to go. I took one last look around and the dream faded into darkness.

I opened my eyes to see Nema kneeling over me, her face twisted in worry. "Owww.....wha-what happened?" I groaned. My back was sore because I was laying on the floor. I sat up slowly and looked up to the beds next to me. Nema sighed in relif " I thought something bad happened to you. You weren't waking up. I thought Darkri had gotten to you." I was confused "h-how did-" "you sleep talk. So does that girl. Did you find a way to wake her up?" I looked up at Sparker, who was still asleep and said " Yes. She will wake up soon, but she has found a way to get into Rand's mind."

Almost if on cue they both opened their eyes. "Papa!" Nema ran over to Rand and huged him. He looked dazed and confused "w-where am I?" Nema looked like she could cry with joy. "Don't worry we're at the tilt village ranger base. Joel saved you and the girl" Rand blinked and responded "Can we leave now? You guys know I hate to be stuck indoors." Joel laughed "Both of your injuries were'nt too bad. I'm guessing we can leave now."

Leanne walked in "Looks like you two are feeling better" She walked over to Sparker, was sitting quietly the whole time. "Who are you?" Leanne said softly. Sparker said nothing, but looked fairly happy. I answered for her "her name is Sparker" Leanne turned toward everyone again "Well whoever she is, I can't find anything about her." Rand got up on his feet "why doesn't she stay with us?" Leanne nodded. "Well then it's settled. She will stay with us untill we find out about her." We all turned back to the Sparker, who was smiling and we all smiled too.
