POV: Maya

"HOW COULD YOU???" I screamed as me and Riles came through the window, "WHO IS THAT AND WHY ARE YOU KISSING HER?"

"Maya," Lucas said "this is Missy Bradford. But it's not what it lo-"

"MISSY BRADFORD??" I yell, not noticing how loud I'm being, "HOW COULD YOU KISS HER? IS SHE THE ONE WHO SENT ME THE TEXT? WELL WHATEVER. MISSY, YOU CAN HAVE HIM I DON'T WANT HIM ANYMORE."

POV: Rylie

Before we all knew it, Maya had left through the window and was running down the street. Lucas tried to follow her, but I left before him, after slapping him for hurting my best friend. But he still bolted. He caught up to Maya and was about 20 feet behind her. But then we all heard honking until...

CRASH

Lucas and I look over, and all we see is Maya's body, laying in the street, surrounded by glass and blood.

POV: Lucas

"MAYA," I screamed, "NO NO NO YOU HAVE TO BE OKAY I NEED YOU PLEASE."

I ran over, and knelt by her side, blood staining my pants. I didn't care though.

"RYLIE CALL SOMEONE PLEASE SHE NEEDS HELP SHE'S UNCONSCIOUS."

Rylie got out her phone and started dialing. But I needed someone right then.

"HELP," I screamed as loud as I possibly could, "SOMEBODY, ANYBODY, PLEASE. HELP HER."

We hear a car come darting around the corner. I hear sirens, and see blinding lights.

The ambulance.

"OH THANK GOODNESS. PLEASE HELP HER NOW. TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL. TELL ME SHE'S GOING TO BE OKAY."

"We'll do everything we can. I don't know what we can do, but we'll try our best. How are you associated with her?" The paramedics asked.

"I'm her boy-" I paused. They only let immediate family in the hospital room with her.

"I'm her brother." I say quickly. "Her name is Maya Penelope Hart. Please take good care of her. She's all I have."

"We'll do everything we can. Do you two want to ride in the ambulance with her?" She says, motioning towards me and Rylie, probably assuming that Rylie is her sister or something, while the other paramedics got the stretcher out.

"We'd appreciate that, thank you." Rylie calmly says.
