POV: Lucas

She sits diagnol from me in history class with Mr. Matthews.
Beautiful brown hair, a gleaming smile, and a laugh that could make anyone's day better. She holds a special place in my heart and always will.
Rylie Matthews is my girl and my girl only.
Even if it's not official.

POV: Rylie

I sit diagnol from him in history class with my dad, Cory Matthews, for a teacher. Even if I don't look over, I can tell he's always looking at me with his amazing green eyes. I could stare into his eyes for all eternity.
He's mine.
Lucas Friar is mine and only mine.
Although it is unofficial.

POV: Maya

Behind me in history with Mr. Matthews and my science partner for Mr. Norton's class, is Bucky McBoing-Boing the cowboy. He's unofficially with Rylie, who sits next to me. That leaves Farkle Minkus, that weird little creature I consider my friend who sits behind Rylie. He always says he'll love me and Riles the same no matter what. Even if I wanted to, I would never end up with him because of that.
I wouldn't like being called Maya Minkus anyways

POV: Farkle

Next to me in history class, I have Lucas Friar. My best friend. He can get any girl he wants. He seems to want Rylie, which leaves me with the second girl I love, Ms. Maya Penelope Hart. But there's also Missy Bradford, who seems pretty obsessed with Lucas. She is nothing compared to Rylie. Maya is probably my best option because she will never go out with Lucas.
He is Rylie's, and only Rylie's.

*bell rings*

"Hello everyone, and welcome back to yet another year at John Quincy Adams Middle School with me, Mr. Matthews."

*Rylie and Lucas are staring at each other, to busy to listen to Cory*

"Ms. Hart, would you please get Rylie to pay attention, she's to young for boys. No boys. Not while I'm still alive."

"Hey Riles, why don't you get outta Riley Town and stop drooling over Bucky McBoing-Boing."

"Thank you Ms. Hart, now I can finally continue talking about--"

"Why do you call me Bucky McBoing-Boing, Maya?" Lucas said, interrupting Mr. Matthews.

"I dunno," Maya responds, "you gotta problem?"

"No, no," Lucas answers with a smirk, "but why do you call Rylie's Uncle Josh Uncle Boing?"

"Because have you seen him? He's got a pretty face." Maya responds with no hesitation.

"Oh so what you're saying is, I'm Bucky-McBoing-Boing because I have a pretty face? I mean, Uncle Boing only has one boing, but Bucky McBoing-Boing has two." Lucas says mockingly.

*Maya doesn't know what to say and stares at Lucas blankly*
