Moonlit darkness

Blake's POV

The flowing hair of that young girl and the cloak making streaks of scarlet behind her. That scene was engraved in my mind. I guess I fell head over heels for the girl.

It seemed she did as well though. She was blushing up a storm. Her silver eyes held a light to them that I have seen in years. Like cruelty hasn't happened to her at all.

Innocence is what she held. I think I would like to see if we can be more than just friends.

The walk away from Ruby was the second hardest thing I have done in my life the first was leaving my abusive ex-boyfriend. Adam Taurus everytime I think of him it sends my hair stick on end.

Walking among the lights of patch was heartwarming. I found that the lights seemed to share a little secret. The grass under my feet tickled underneath my open feet in the sandals that were made black leather. I am glad I decided to wear them.

Finding my way home was simple the moonlight gleaming in my hair as I opened the door made of old wood. This was my parents house before they passed from the world. I inherited the small fortune that they had. The money didn't make losing them any better.

I found my tears flowing down my cheeks in angry streaks. As if to say why did you release the floodgates. God I wish I had someone that would hold me and comfort me in their embrace. I wanted Ruby to be the one.

Wiping my tears on the back of my sleeve. I reached into my purse that was on my nearby dining room table made of old marble. Texting Ruby asking if we could hang out tomorrow. The reply was immediate.

Of course. How about the movies?

Thinking about it for a minute I accepted the movie proposition. A smile raised on my face.

It was going to be a good day.
