Love and College

A/N Note this chapter takes several months after the events of Shadows of desire and Scarlet streaks of desire. Ruby and Blake have lived peacefully for awhile and Ruby is going to college as Blake helps Ruby with getting her education.

Ruby's POV

"Ruby wake up love...... If you don't get up there will be no sex tonight." The soft voice of Blake became a little louder when she said no sex tonight that it made me jump immediately to attention.

The sight of Blake's bare breasts next to me sent a wave of desire over me despite what she just said and she knew that I desired her and she desired me.

"Ok kitten I will get ready for college... though I want nothing more than to make love again with you right now." I slowly brought Blake's lips to my own before she broke away. 

"Go take a shower and get ready Ruby Rose before I draw you in there." Blake's golden eyes light with delight at the thought. Though I cannot tell if it was due to her thinking of showering with me or just getting me ready for my first day of classes at Signal college of applied arts.

"You know we are an odd couple right Kitten?" The thought seemed to pull itself from my mouth before I could pull it back.

Blake held confusion in her golden eyes for a minute before cocking her head back and laughing. "All the best ones are Ruby, now go get ready."

Blake's POV

Something is definitely on her mind; more than just the nervousness of her first day of college classes though for what reason she has to be nervous is beyond me.  The thought had me engrossed while the food continued to simmer before a burning smell began to fill the air.

"Shit." Running toward the small oak wooden drawer across the small tiled kitchen before opening it in a hurry to grab the small dish rags to be able to grab the handle of the skillet safely while the now blackened pancakes simmered menacingly as I brought them toward the now running water of the sink.

"What is wrong Blake?" The soft voice came from behind me and I turned to face the soft silver eyed Ruby whose hair was in a towel and was wearing a dark blue t-shirt that fit the curves of her body the strap of her bra barely looking over the shirt. Her skirt hugged her legs with an ease that had heat flowing into my face.

"Nothin....ng is wrong Ruby, You scared me is all." I stuttered as the heat reached my face sending what I knew to be a deep pink blush to my cheeks.
