Yind, Vin, Lei and Alella strode out of the white marble building, keeping their hoods down.
They were in South Sector, recruiting new members, and preparing for the bank robbery.
Alella was a small girl, her light brown hair was a short thing, and she wore a black cloak. They had found her in Steia Mora, a deserted building in a corner of South Sector. She was huddled in a corner, and immediately said yes to their mission. What better, she was a whisper, so she could cover their magic at the robbery.
"Where are we going, Yind?" Lei said.
"Just follow me." He replied. They walked onwards, towards the central city of South Sector, which was decorated in white buildings, houses and a large factory. They eventually found themselves at the entrance to the city, but Yind steered them sideways, heading down a dark and less taken care for alley. Their footsteps echoed through the dark passageway as they made their way down a set of stairs, and turned right to find themselves in a street taken up only of a small house.
Yind walked forward, towards the house, and stopped at the wooden door.
There was something wrong.
"What is this place?" Lei said.
"No.." Vin whispered.
The door was smashed in pieces, only strips of wood hung midway up the entrance, and splinters littered the ground everywhere.
"What...what happened here?"
"YIND WHAT THE HELL IS THIS PLACE?" Lei screamed quietly.
"My Grandfather's home...he....he lives here."
"What the hell happened?"
"I don't know..I was here yesterday, he was fine.."
Yind walked inside the dusty hallway, his heavy boots creaking the uneasy floorboards. The stairs leading to the second storey was caved in, showing an empty black storage cupboard under the stairs.
Vin covered her mouth with her hand, "Oh my god..." she whispered, tears trickling down her cheek.
The kitchen door was on its floor, its hinges were stuck to the far wall, where a man hung.
Their grandfather was hung from a rope that way attached to a spinning fan, where he spun in circles above a pool of blood.
Vin cried out as Yind read the words on the kitchen wall written in dark, murky blood.
"You can't escape this fate. Give up, or everyone you love will die. This is just the beginning, and we will do much worse until you give yourselves up. Leave this place and never return, or you will be greeted by awful ends."
"Holy shit..." Alella said.
"We need to leave, Yind, now." Lei said.
"I know...c'mon let's go."
Yind turned, heading for the entrance door, where he met the face of a grisly being.
It's eyes were torn out, and it was covered in black robes. It's mouth was hanging on by skin blowing over his lips. It's gleaming sword in a black hilt was sitting, waiting.
The Pulmanor stretched his hand, to face out at them as his palm faced their shocked faces, and he shot.
