Obviously, the current one used in this story is different...
For reasons.
That will change.

So, do enjoy reading, you little sheep, and sorry for the lengthy AN and kinda short chapter:

Mabel should have practiced drawing the circle. In retrospect, simply running into the woods and trying to spray paint it onto the damp grass wasn't a good idea. The circle was all lopsided and the symbols looked strange.

Never less, Mabel lit the eight candles and waited. And waited. Maybe Dipper was late.

      Nothing.

Sighing, she bent down and blew out the candles in a puff of air. Their thin trails of smoke dissipated through the air.

She rubbed the misshapen summoning circle away. Because the grass had been coated in dew, it only left a few streaks of gold in the grass.

Picking up the candles, she trudged back to the Mystery Shack. Mabel didn't want to put the candles back, it sounded like Stan was in the  kitchen and she didn't want to alert them to what she was doing.
