Song: Run Devil Run
(I don't know but I was listening to it so oh well.)

idk if you all knew this, but Mabel giving her soul to Dipper as a deal is actually cannon to the Transcendence AU storyline, so that wasn't my idea. Now you can't yell at me. ;)

(Also auto correct has decided that it hates me so if there are random words and stuff don't blame me.)

Hope ya enjoy:
(Still in Ford's POV)

It was one thing to make a deal with a demon. It was another thing entirely to make a deal and give your soul to said demon. Did it really matter if Dipper had once been human? How could Mabel think that the deal was safe? She had been tricked, it was all too obvious, and even though the deal had already been made, Ford knew that he had to find some way to save her.

If he didn't succeed... Ford didn't want to think about what could happen to her. Because all it would take was one slip up from Dipper, and she would die, maybe even fade from existence.

Not only would everyone else be devastated if something happened to Mabel, but Ford was sure that even with Dipper in his current state, he still cared for his sister. If something happened to Mabel at the fault of him, there would be nothing left to hold Dipper back. That would be bad for multiple reasons.

"Mabel." Ford sighed. "Why would you do that? Why not just take me to the hospital and let them handle it?"

"Dipper said that you had lost too much blood. I was worried that if we left you, you might not ever wake up again." She protested. "It wasn't like making a deal with Bill, Dipper explained everything!"

Didn't Mabel understand that that wasn't the point? It didn't matter that Dipper had explained all the details of the deal, she had still given her soul. She had still played right into his hands.

"Did he tell you what will happen if he looses your soul, or if something damages it?" Ford asked.

"I... No. Why? It can't be anything too bad."

"You could stop existing. Or go mad. Maybe something else, I'm not even sure."

Mabel looked offended. "Dipper would never let anything happen to me! He'll always protect me!"

"And whatever happened in the town. A lot of it was destroyed, Mabel. Was he protecting you then?"

"No." Mabel said. "Of course not. He was protecting everyone. If he hadn't showed up, then even worse things would have happened. That Nightmare thing would killed a lot more people! Why is Dipper helping everyone such a problem for you?"

"It isn't a bad thing. But how far will he go to protect us? What about when one of us dies? When he's left alone?"

Mabel didn't say anything. Instead, she frowned, looking intently at the ground between her feet, brow creased. Ford hoped that she was thinking everything through, and not coming up with an attempt to rebuke what he had just said.

"He can deal with it." She said finally.

"He can deal with it? Mabel! This isn't just Dipper anymore! In case you failed to notice, he's a demon now. He's a lot more powerful that any of us, and if something goes wrong, we'll have an even bigger issue than Bill on our hands! And what will you do? Continue to support him?"

Mabel opened her mouth to say something, but closed it again quickly. Ford noticed that her eyes seemed brighter than normal. Was she about to cry? Before he could say anything to her, Mabel turned and ran out of the room.
