The Forest of Death.

I remember going through that. But I can't say it was pleasant.

Here I stood, being dragged around by Amari, as she helped Anko organize the teams into their sections.

I sat on top of the hut set up just outside of the forest of death as each team signed themselves in.

This was dumb.

I didn't want to be here. At all.

I watched as the genin kept huddled in their little teams as some interview was being conducted, leaving them to fend for themselves for who knows how long.

I felt a few of their stares on me, as they seemed to be talking about.. me.

Me. The "mysterious" Jonin. Unknown were my whereabouts and family. Hell, I don't even know my last name.

All I knew is that they found me in the Village Hidden in the Sand. They, as in Amari, who found me as a baby, stranded in the sand.

She took me in, practically raising me, and the Hokage just happened to have found an interest in me.

The only reason I was made as his apprentice because I was young. A "little girl" as a Jonin, they were skeptical of me and thought of it safe to be by the Hokage's side.

Not only that, but my power also.

Manipulation with the use of the wind.

That made sense, being discovered in the Land of the Wind.

But my powers also revealed a hint of coming from the Village Hidden if the Sound.

Manipulation with the hum of a lullaby. The lullaby, the only memory I had of my childhood.

Only the Hokage, Amari, and a few insignificant others saw my true power.

I don't like to use my power.

I lowered myself to the ground, using the wind as my slide.

I turned my head to meet the hardened eyes of a boy from the Sand.

His hair was red, just like mine.

His eyes were a striking blue, just like one of my eyes is. Above his left eye was a symbol.

Love.

I had one too. Just under my ear.

I broke our gaze, even though he couldn't see my eyes, deeming that boy as someone who would probably make it to the finals.

That was just judging from a simple glance at him. And with that simple glance, I knew that he had a mass of terrifying power.

"Genari Sensei!" A girl with long blonde hair came up to me.

I stood there, waiting for her to continue.

"My name is Ino Yamanaka, and it is such an honor to meet you!" She knelt before me, bowing her head.

"Ino, what the hell are ya doing?" A guy, one of her team members, came up to us, an annoyed expression on his face.

"Shikamaru! Quit being so rude and kneel before her!" Ino grabbed his wrist, pulling him to the ground with her.

A quite wide guy approached us, quickly munching away on chips.

Ino's head snapped up as she shot a glare in his direction.
