Goldwick (A Mortal Instruments story)

So, Here's the Thing...

Hello to my lovely followers! So, first, I must apologize for neglecting this story for more than a year. I'm writing this to tell you all about what is going to happen with this it (if any of you are still willing to listen.)

So, as for the Mortal Instruments (the actual series), I've kind of fallen... out of touch with it. Yes, it still holds a dear place in my heart, but the amount of attention I've given it and how much I fawn over it nowadays has decreased significantly. Hell, I'm not even really interested in watching the show. But as my followers, that's unfair to you. So here's what I'm going to do.

Firstly, I absolutely hate the way I've written this story. I wrote it at a time where my writing and grammar skills were not nearly as good as they are now, so most of the story frustrates the heck out of me. So, what I want to do is rewrite it. It will still have Amelia as the main character, but I want it to focus more on how I think Amelia and Jace were before he met Clary, rather than how I'm currently writing it as a sort of filler book between City of Lost Souls and City of Heavenly Fire. So it would be similar to a series prequel. And I'm pretty sure you all will like it a bit more.

So, the question now is when. When will I actually start writing this? Well, the thing is I've already written the first few chapters, but I will not start posting until around the beginning of June. I would write it sooner, but I am currently also writing chapters for my Divergent/Hunger Games fanfic very creatively called the Divergent Games, as well as my original story Past Life, which centers around an assassin who was brought back from the dead with a sole mission to save her fiance who thinks she's been dead for two years. So if you are interested, you can check those out.

Other than that, there's not much else to stay. Thank you for reading this story. The new one will most likely be called something else, but I'm still going to keep this one up. I'm thinking of naming it something along the lines of A Warlock and her Shadowhunter. So keep an eye out. I love you all, and thanks again for your votes, and comments!
