Ch.15

Normal POV

Suddenly a wolf come out from no where and attack them. "Hah!" Amy use her hammer and hit the wolf away. Shadow carry up Silver and say "This is getting worse and worse..." Just after he finished his line, a bunch of wolfs jump out and attack them. Amy keep using her hammer hit the wolf, Sonic spin dash the wolf and Shadow protecting Silver while use chao spear attack the wolf. But there are too many for them. The wolf keep surround they. Shadow not easy to break out and escape. He look back.

"Sonic! Amy!" He shout. "Don't worry Shadow! We can handle this, like Blaze and Knuckles say we will be fine! And---" Sonic look at Shadow with a smile "---you always right! Now go! We will catch up you guy!" Shadow and Silver look at them the last time and leave.

#After a while#

Shadow run to a pond and put down Silver. "Dammit!" He punch the ground. Silver look at him with worry and sorrow in his eyes. "Maybe... Sonic is right... I am the one who kill them... I am... I am the real mer---" just when Shadow was about to finish his line. He feel some one hugging him from the back. He look back, is Silver. "Please don't say it... The more you say, the more pain inside of you..." "Silver...but they all because of me and d---" "No! We don't even know the truth yet! How could you say that! I can feel they still alive!" "Silver...I don't know anything anymore..."

"Shi" a noise from their back some one is here and it getting closer and closer. Shadow stand up and ready to attack who ever it is. "Chao Spe---" "No Shadow stop!" Silver stop Shadow.

????? POV

After the army destroy our village, mother and I escape to this forest, we have a secret hiding place inside the forest near the pond. Mother say this is in case somethings happen to our kingdom and it dangerous, we can hide in here. Now I am preparing some food for our next few days or few weeks stay in here. Suddenly I hear some voice near the pond. I was so curious so I ask mother can I go and check out. She say "But dear... This is quite dangerous, are you sure?" I nodded and reply "Yes, mother" " Okay, but come back as quick possible, okay?" She say. I nodded again and say "Okay mother." She give me a kiss on cheek and I leave.

I follow the sound, and it getting louder and louder, but those voice sounds so sad. I come out for the tree. I see a black hedgehog and a white hedgehog. "Chao Spe---" "No Shadow stop!"

Normal POV

"Ahhhhhh!" The little rabbit scream and fall down. It lucky that Silver stop Shadow or else the little rabbit will get hurt. "Little rabbit ?" Shadow recognise the little rabbit. "Prin-prince Shadow?" She quickly get up and squat "My deeply apology that I---" Shadow stop the little rabbit. "It okay and besides you don't have to squat. " "Okay, Prince Shadow."she say but she still squat. Shadow hold his laugh and Silver just giggle. "Follow me Mr. Shadow, I'm sure you must be hungry." The little rabbit show the way.

"Mother, I'm home." The little rabbit knock the door. A adult rabbit open the door. "You back Cream! I was so worry about you! I was almost want to go out and find you!" She pick up Cream. "I'm sorry Mother." "It okay. By the way..." The adult rabbit put down Cream. "Who are they Cream?" She ask "This is Prince Shadow and this is Prince Shadow's friend!" Cream reply. "Well hello there!" Cream's mother greeting them. "Come in my dear." She welcome them. Shadow carry Silver in and put him in the chair.

Silver though "Why is Cream's mother look so familiar? She look like some one I use to know..." Shadow notice Silver keep stare at Cream's mother since when they meet her. "Silver? Is there something wrong?" He ask. "Huh? Oh! I'm fine don't worry!" Silver snap back. But he look back at Cream's mother again . Shadow has no idea what wrong with Silver so he decide to find Cream's mother to talk. While Shadow talking with Cream's mother, Cream come and talk to Silver.

"Hello, Mr, are you alright?" She ask. "Yea, I'm find, thank." Silver give her a smile. Cream's eyes sparkling for how Silver smile cute. While Silver and Cream are still chatting. Shadow ask Cream's mother.

He ask "Miss, are you sure this place is safe?". Cream's mother reply him "I'm sure if the army didn't invasion here too..." Shadow and Cream's mother look at each other for a while. Finally Shadow break the silence. "May I ask what is your name?" He ask.

"My name is Vanilla the rabbit." She reply. Shadow's eyes widely open, he shocked. "Your-your name is Vanilla..!" He remembers that Silver told him before his mother is a rabbit and it call Vanilla and he has a rabbit sister. It-it that mean...?

"Mo-mother?" Vanilla and Shadow turn back. They see Silver's face shocked with some tear. "Sil-Silver? " Vanilla sound almost cry. "Is that you? Silver?" Vanilla cover her mouth try not to shout. Silver slowly nodded. Vanilla rush to Silver and hug him tightly. "My Silver!" Vanilla shout. "Mother..." Silver return a hug and keep sobbing "Mother...ahhhhhhh... I miss you so much!" The two keep crying.

A while later. They calm down, but Silver still sobbing. "Dear... I thought I will never see you again..." Vanilla touch Silver's face and look at him closer. "Mother..." Silver smile. They realise they missing someone. They look at Cream, she has a confuse face. Silver and Vanilla can't help but giggle. Vanilla explain "Sorry dear, I have never tell you about this, this is your missing brother, Silver the hedgehog." "Mr.Silver is my brother?" Cream ask. Silver nodded to her. Cream's face turn to joy and hug Silver "I have a brother, and he come back!" Silver and Vanilla keep giggling.

Shadow look at them happily. Silver turn to look at him "Shadow thank you!". Shadow walk towards to Silver "No need to thank, I didn't do anything." "Don't say such a thing, this is really important to me, and you help me!" Shadow and Silver smile.

However Silver's smile slowly disappear. Shadow notice it "Silver?" Silver's eyes turn to worry "Mother is back, sister is back... But where father?" Silver look at Vanilla with worry and anxiety. "Where is he?" He need the answers. Vanilla's biggest fear has come.
