Percy Jackson-

I was actually looking forward for this lesson of Care of Magical Creatures.  Until some Grumpy-Plank person was the one overseeing the lessons, and they were far too mellow for me.  I was hoping that we'd actually learn/do something exciting now.

"I'm so bored!" Thalia whined to Nico  and I as we made our way to Haggy-rid's hut thing for the lesson.

"Electrocute Percy," Nico shrugged, and yelped when I punched him in the arm.  "What?" He defended when I glared at him.  "It always wakes her up when she does that!"

"Maybe she should shock you." I said menacingly.

"But my screams aren't nearly as entertaining!  It's a compliment....sort of!"

I rolled my eyes and shoved him onto the floor.  Nico snickered and propped himself up before wiping some dirt off his clothes.

"That isn't what I mean." Thalia sighed.  "I don't want to shock anyone."

Nico and I froze.

"See, I..." Thalia looked behind her to see Nico and I standing still, giving her weird looks.  We just stood there in total shock.

"Do you think it is her?" Nico whispered loudly.

"Of course not," I said.  "It can't be.  Our cousin loves to shock people!  Either there is something really wrong with her, or she is an evil clone."

"Do evil clones even exist?"

"How should I know?  Besides, I don't count anything out anymore."

"True..."

"Oh, stop it!" Thalia growled, and pushed both of us back, shocking us.

"What I meant is that shocking people isn't enough.  I want to train again.  Old fashion style.   Weapons, no powers.  Full out frenzy.  Skill on skill.  Strength on strength.  Weapon to weapon.  Hand to hand.  That sort of thing."

Nico and I got up and nodded in agreement.  Sure our powers were awesome.  They were fun and amazing, and have saved our lives loads of times, but sometimes there was nothing like a good old fashioned fight.  A fight where the winner would only be determined by their skill, strength, technique, and wits.

"We'll have to find some place to do that, then."

"The Forest?"

"No," I said.  "Too many people go into the Forest.  We've discovered maybe about a bazillion secret rooms and passages in the castle, maybe one of those, or something."

"Oh, well, then.  Don't worry, Thals, we'll find some place to beat each other up after maybe getting maimed by some dangerous, vicious, lethal, perhaps rabid animals," Nico said earnestly.

"Okay," Thalia grinned, like a kid given candy.  Or me given blue candy.  Or blue cookies.  Or blue waffles, or....okay, you get it, I love blue food.  (Should I give you a bulldozer now, or do you want Leo to give you a hammer so you can fan-girl/fan-boy while you hell break down the forth wall?)

We walked down to the hut thing a little happier after that, which is pretty weird, but I've already established my weirdness, and I'm not going to repeat myself again.

(Okay, you know what, just imagine Hagrid speaking like Hagrid.  I'll try and fix it when I go back and edit it, all right?  I can't do it off the top of my head.)

"Okay, class.  Today, we'll be learning about a wonderful, endangered creature." The big hairy guy addressed us.  "Pegasi are amazing winged horses that are told in myths and legends, and you'll get to meet some of the only surviving Pegasi in the world."
