I was laying on my bed listening to my music when when i heard a knock on my bedroom door. I took out my earphones and put my ipod down onto my bed. " come in! " i yelled. The door opened and my dad walked in he sat on the beside me. "Theres... Something i need to tell you." He said with a sigh. This didn't sound good. " you and my mom we... Had disagreements and we think it would be best if we... Well, separated." I stared at him for a moment and then said, " you mean divorced?" I asked. He nodded and said. " yes. I have already bought a house, and since you decided to wait, a year until you got to college, this wont be to hard." I stood up quickly. " Were moving!" I yelled. " well, yes. Your mom pays the bills and she wants to keep the house so," he rambled. " Your asking me to leave my friends, and my life behind? When are we leaving. A month? Two months." He sat there for a moment while i waited for a answer. " we leave in two days. " he practically whispered. I stood there for a moment. Then i ran. I ran out of the house. I heard him calling my name. I got onto my bike and pedaled away. I didnt have my own car, even though i was already 18, so my parents let me use their car, but i had forgot to grab them on my way out. I rode up to the bakery i went to when ever i needed to calm down. I walked in. "Hey Ellie. The usual?" The guy at the front asked. I nodded. He slid over a blueberry pie. I sat down and thought while i ate. Once we moved, there would be no usual for me. No one would know me.
