We were in her house eating some food. I was sitting at the table with Jess, her mom, and her dad. We just sat and ate with silence. Jess looked a lot like her mom. Same hair, same rosy cheeks, same bright smile. But she had her dads skin color, and freckles. I loved her freckles. "So...your the friend Jess talks about so much?" He said while waggling his eyebrows. I blushed, then giggled. She totally had her dads sense of humor. "John!" Her mom said." Stop goofing around!" She giggled a bit herself. I smiled at them. A nice happy family. I almost teared up thinking of my own family. We all finished our dinner. Jess brought me to her room. "My parents are going out tonight. They wont be back till tomorrow morning so we'll also being going out!" She said with a squeal. "Where?" I asked her. "To the club!" She squealed. Now that the two of us were 18, we could go to clubs, but we couldn't get drinks because we didn't have id's, and no matter how hard she would pester me, i would not make a fake id. Never. "We need to get you fixed up first!" She said. I heard her parents yell they were going, then the opening and closing of doors. Jess pulled me over to her closet open. She pushed me into the bathroom, the sat me down on the toilet. She started curling my hair. Ounce she was done, she lined my eyes with eyeliner, then did smokey eye. She told me i didn't need much makeup. She shoved a black leather dress towards me with heels, the ones that weren't sticks but like high tops and sandals in a way, and told me to get dressed. She walked out of the bathroom and slipped into the dress, and slid ont the heels. The dress had straps, thank goodness, and it hugged me perfectly. When i came out of the bathroom, i saw that Jess had a dress identical to mine. The walked into the bathroom, and she did her makeup just like mine. "Twinsies!" She screeched. I just laughed. She pulled me out of the house. At first i was confused as to how we were going to get there, and then she held up car keys and shook them. " i got a car for my birthday!" She said. We got into the car and headed off
