I took a shower, got dressed in white shorts and a black t-shirt, with black vans and a nice, soft hoodie ( i wasnt wearing it since it was cool, but the hot sun was beating down on me and making me hot ) standing in front of her house. She walked out with a smile on her face, wearing a thin fleece sweater, a white tank top, jean shorts, and colorful vans. " ready she asked? "Yeah!" I replied. " one more thing!" She said, before rushing to the garage of her house. I waited. Minutes passed. Finally she emerges with two bakes. A red one and purple one. " i have a brother. The red bike is his." She said. I raised my eyebrows. " first of all you have a brother. And second, were riding bikes?" She just shrugges and says. " the town is 10 minutes walking but 5 minutes biking. And i forgot to tell you i had a brother when we met. He's 19 and in college so he's rarely ever around..." She said with a distant look in her eyes. She shook her head then passed me the purple bike. " lets go!" We biked into town. Then she stopped at an ice cream place called "frozen sweets". It looked like a cheesy place. Oh no i thought. What have i gotten myself into? She pulled me inside, then said to the lady at the counter " we would like a job here." "How old are you guys?" She asked with a bored voice, "how old are you two?" "I just turned 18 and shes 18 to." Jess said. I made a note in my head ro make fun of her for being younger than her. "Your hired." The lady said. My mouth dropped my mouth open. " no interview!" She shook her head. " were low on employees she said with a sigh. So i had a job. Wow
