"Hey. Can you stop pacing? You're making me dizzy." I turned to the other person in this room who asked the question.
"I'm just getting really impatient. Sorry. Do you feel sick?" I apologized worriedly for her.
"Uh, no. I'm fine." I sighed at her answer.
"Look... I know being pregnant with a hybrids baby seems overwhelming, but I just want you to know I'm here for you. And if I were you I would be thinking of 'her' as a miracle baby." I said.
"Thank you. But why are you being so nice to me? I mean, I appreciate it but you don't even know me." Hayley asked confused causing me to chuckle.
"You know, I don't know. I guess that's the kind of person I am. I'm nice to people 'til they give me a reason not to be. But you seem so familiar and I feel like I have to protect you and your baby." I explained.
"Wait, earlier you said 'her'. Why do you think it's a girl?"
"I don't know. I have this feeling that it's gonna be a girl. But hey! I might be wrong for all we know." I chuckled out.
She laughed but turned serious again and asked, "Do you really think she's my miracle baby? I mean, she's gonna have a werewolf mom and Klaus Mikaelson, the hybrid, as a father. What if he doesn't want her or he does and she is a target because of him. But then I can be a bad mother because I don't know what a mother's like. Most of all, I don't want her to have to live in the supernatural world." By now she had teary eyes and I could tell she didn't want to let them fall.
"Hey. Your thinking of all the worse case scenarios. This baby is your first baby...well that I know of. And with or without having a mom, you can be the best mom for her if you try. I can guarantee her father will be in her life because if he tries to not be, I'll be there to drag his blood-sucking werewolf ass back here to her." We both started to laugh before I carried on with what I was saying.
"But... the supernatural world will always be here. Your baby is most likely gonna inherit the werewolf gene. That's not something you should be afraid of. She's gonna have you there for her. So yes I believe this is your miracle baby. I believe she can bring hope into your life." I finished not realizing I shed a tear.
"Thank you," Hayley muttered out while I wiped the year I shed away.
"Yes, very touching." Sophie said while coming into the room making us jump in surprise. "You need to leave now Liz. Hayley, it's almost time." As Sophie said those words, I stood in front of Hayley protectively.
"I'm not leaving her here with you." I said. I wasn't gonna let anything happen to her or her baby.
"Fine. You can stay if you want." Sophie bitterly said getting a tight smile from me in return.

By now Elijah has returned with his brother and Hayley's baby daddy, Klaus. I stood to the left of Hayley while Elijah was standing to the right of her. Right now Klaus just found out the news of becoming a father.
"Nope. It's impossible." Klaus said, trying to to deny it.
"I said the same thing myself-" Elijah started only to be cut off by Klaus.
"This is a lie. You're all lying. Vampires cannot procreate." He pointed at everyone in the room.
"But werewolves can." Sophie piped in. "Magic made you a vampire...but you were born a werewolf. You're the original hybrid. The first of your kind. And this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes."
It got silent for a second, making me worried so I stood more in front of Hayley just in case something happened. And I was proven right when Klaus suddenly turned around, charging towards Hayley.
"You've been with someone else. Admit it!" Klaus demanded while Elijah stopped him from getting closer to Hayley.
"Hey! I've spent days captive in a freakin' alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some magical miracle baby. Don't you think I would've fest up if it wasn't yours?" Ooh... I like defensive Hayley.
"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them safe... or we can kill them." Sophie declared.
"Sophie! I will not let you harm her or her baby." I told her firmly. She glanced at me warily before continuing.
"If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie threatened.
"Wait, what?" Hayley let out.
"Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah told Sophie.
"No! We can't. Not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow and there are rules." Sophie said.
Klaus who has had his back towards us for a while finally turned around and addressed Sophie.
"How dare you command me?" He asked through gritted teeth. "Threaten me?! With what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses! This is a pathetic deception!" He yelled out before he started to walk towards the exit. "I won't hear anymore lies." He finished.
"Niklaus." Elijah called out causing Klaus to halt in his steps. "Listen." He commanded.
Klaus turned towards Hayley making me step slightly out the way so he could hear the baby's heart beat. Hayley was holding her stomach while Klaus looked at it with wide eyes. Then he looked up at Hayley with an angered look making step back in front of her. He glanced at me with squinted eyes before turning back to Elijah and Sophie.
"Kill her and the baby. What do I care." He declared before storming out while we all watched.
"Screw this! I'm outta here." Hayley waved and started to walk out but got blocked by two witches.
"Hey!" I called out.
Elijah walked forward and spoke. "No one touches the girl. I will fix this." Sophie nodded towards the witches who were blocking the way out and they moved, allowing Elijah to leave.
I turned to Sophie with a hard glare.
"What is wrong with you?!" I yelled out.
"You know exactly why I'm doing this Liz. Marcel needs to be stopped." Sophie stammered out.
"You are bargaining an unborn child's life! That's worse than Marcel."
"Of course you stick up for him. He's your father figure! That's why Jane-Anne didn't want you apart of this but she knew with the girl...we were also involving you." Sophie exclaimed.
"Yes. You're right. I am involved because I will not let an innocent baby be involved in this vampire and witch fight. So whatever you have planned, just know I will be there. Now since you have Hayley stuck here, I will not be going anywhere. Now leave!" I yelled out making her flinch back before glaring and storming out.
