"What are you doing here, Lyn."
"Well... For Set Design, we have to design the talent show stuff even though it's in spring, but I got assigned you guys," Lyn explained.
"And that's a bad thing?" Joshua asked.
"Oh, no no no, it's great. I hate having to talk to people I don't know for this assignment. It's just that the things you wrote were... well... they were very vague," Lyn answered.
"Vague?" Dino was confused.
"There was no detail. Here wait let me get it," Lyn took the paper out from her bag. "Pretty colors, cool, mix concepts."
"Ah, I see. Sorry, for the trouble, we'll make a more detailed list and give it to you tomorrow," Joshua said.
"Alrighty thanks. Mark is at a dance club. Do you mind if I watch you practice and just chill here?" Lyn asked.
"The thing is Hoshi isn't here and we're starting to practice transition and moving around where we don't bump into each other, so we aren't really practicing today. It's like a day off," Vernon responded.
"Where is he?" Lyn wondered.
"Some dance club. The counselor suggested it, so he's trying it out a bit. If he likes it, performance team might join in," Dino answered.
"Ah, I see. What are you guys going to do here then?"
"I don't know. Just be bored and do nothing. A few of us were studying before Mingyu angered Woozi, but yeah that's it," Joshua said.
Just then the announcements started:
"Good afternoon! Korican High Students! It's your principal, Mr. Paruolo! Here for your daily lunch announcements. We've moved the announcements to lunch instead of the morning since the speakers haven't been working in the morning when we tested them. Anyway! We have word from the Drama department about the up and coming play is... Romeo and Juliet! Auditions are next month. Forms are in the office. Break a leg! The spring talent show deadline is soon so get those applications in. Set Design needs the time to work with you. Now, the moment that you all are waiting for... hhhoooOOOOMMMMECOMING, yes homecoming. This year's theme is Magical Masquerade! So get ready! I believe that is all for this lunch announcement. Mr. Paruolo out!"
"Guys, we might actually be able to go to homecoming!" Dino exclaimed.
"You couldn't go last year?" Lyn asked.
"We were practicing day and night for our debut without any breaks. It was the most intense thing ever," Vernon said.
"Wait, shouldn't you be even more busy since you're getting ready for comeback?" Lyn asked.
"We were in the summer because we had to fly back to Korea and film all of the Show Champions early and film the MC, but we can practically do the choreo blindfolded," Dino bragged a bit, but Lyn didn't mind.
They all separated back into the groups they were in before to talk, do homework, and in Lyn's case help with set design.
Mingyu had also snuck back in without Woozi noticing. Well, he most likely saw but ignored the fact.
When the bell rang, everyone gathered their stuff and headed to class.
"Bye guys! I'm off to calculus," Lyn headed to her class and DK jogged after her.
"Wait! I'm going the same way," DK said and the two walked together.
Lyn enter the class and saw Mark who was seated at one of the tables which had 4 desks each.
Mark and Lyn sat next to each other and DK sat in front of Lyn while another girl sat next to him.
The class ended as quickly as it started and Lyn headed to her art class by herself.
Art was nothing special. They were reviewing everything that happened last year and just talked the entire class.
The last bell rang and Lyn headed to her and Mark's car. Mingyu was waiting for her at the exit of the school and looked up from his phone when he saw her.
"The guys are doing a bit more practicing before they leave, but they told me to go ahead with you. Can we maybe carpool to my house?" Mingyu asked.
"Yeah sure. Mark is coming, too," Lyn added and Mingyu nodded.
They waited silently in the car until Mark came into the back seat.
"Lyn, we have a guest in the car. Slow down a bit okay?" Mark joked and the only thing Lyn did was laugh and she sped off to the Seventeen dorm.
