Mingyu was suddenly woken up by the Vocal Team floor having a high note contest.
"Whyyyy? It's 5:30. There's no valid reason they should be doing this," Mingyu said to himself.
Meanwhile, Wonwoo was sleeping comfortably on his side of the room even with all of the noise.
Mingyu picked up a random hoodie on the floor and put it on. He headed upstairs to investigate the reason as to why he was awake.
"Yah! What are you doing?" He immediately said as he reached the last step.
"Well, you see. We're fighting over who gets to use the bathroom, first," Seungkwan explained.
"But we have times assigned to each other. Whoever's name is written is who gets to go," Mingyu argued.
"Tell DK that," Seungkwan said. "He's the one that wants to get ready first."
"Why do you want to get dressed first?" Mingyu asked.
"Well, you see. I am the one last in the rotation and I always have to be rushed to get ready and since we are going back to school. I want to dress nice," DK explained.
"Lie," Woozi stated and went back to his room.
Everyone faced DK.
"Spit it out, DK," Joshua said.
"I want to change things up a bit?" DK said.
Woozi popped his head out of his room. "Lie."
"What's the real reason?" Jeonghan asked.
Woozi, whose head was still out of his room, said, "Obviously, it's a girl." And went back inside his room.
DK sighed, defeated. "Fine, Woozi is right."
"Well, you could have just said so," Seungkwan said. "I would have let you showered first."
"Really?" DK asked, skeptical.
"Who is it?" Mingyu wondered.
DK sighed a little and smiled. "Just a girl that has my heart."
He happily skipped away to take a shower.
"Strange," Joshua said.
"Very," Jeonghan added.
Everyone had gotten ready and they all arrived at school on time.
Even though they came back to California in February, they didn't come back to school until March because they were busy with make up work the last half of the month.
As Seventeen stepped out of the bus, they were surrounded by students. Many were female and many were holding signs with their faces on it.
They acknowledged everyone and headed inside.
DK hurried off somewhere.
"Let's follow him," Seungkwan whispered to Mingyu.
Being equally curious, Mingyu sneaked off from the rest with Seungkwan.
They had successfully followed DK without him noticing.
They arrived in the arts hallway and Mingyu and Seungkwan quickly went into an empty room and peeked out the door to spy on DK.
DK ran up to two girls who were casually walking around and surprised them.
The two turned around and surprisingly it was Mark and Lyn.
"Why is he meeting with them?" Seungkwan whispered.
Mingyu shushed him and they continued watching.
DK hugged both of them and handed both of them wrapped presents. DK ruffled Lyn's hair a little and did that pinky promise thing where they touch thumbs to.
They talked to each other for a few minutes and DK looked at his watch.
"The guys must be wondering where I am. I will see both of you during lunch, right? Especially, Lyn?" DK asked.
"Yep, I promised anyway," Lyn laughed a little. "See you later and text or call if you need anything."
"You're the best! See you!" DK exclaimed.
"Don't break her heart or I will have to kill you!" Mark warned before DK ran off.
After DK was nowhere to be seen, Mingyu and Seungkwan stepped out of their hiding place.
"You don't think that..." Mingyu said.
"That Lyn and DK are a thing? It seems likely," Seungkwan thought out loud.
"I wonder why he didn't tell us, though," Mingyu said.
"Well, he'll have to tell us sooner or later," Seungkwan looked at the clock in the hallway. "Let's go. Class is about to start."

A/NAH SORRY ABOUT THE INCONSISTENT UPDATING. I've been really busy with things and sorry that this chapter is really short. I truly believe that my life is slowly becoming more in my control and I have been busy keeping it that way. Anyway, I will be back with another update, but I have high school assessments , finals and final projects coming up so I can't promise a certain. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day and good luck to everyone who will be testing soon too.
