The Girl And The Love Interest

Chapter 8

"We are really here. This is really happening. " Tyler said, looking at us with such an appreciative look.

"Fans?" Josh said looking at me for a second then back at Taylor.

"Huge." Luke responded, because Taylor and I definitely weren't capable of that at this point.

"You are the best drummer ever, in the entire world and you are so good and so talented and-"

"-Excuse me?" Ashton interrupted her.
Taylor was hard core blushing.
Ashton looked dead serious. Almost. Jealous. He kept looking at Josh who was staring at Taylor and then he looked at Taylor himself. He smiled, he couldn't help smiling at Taylor.

What is this boy doing with his life!?

He shook his head, looked at me smiled and blushed. He sat down next to Amy. She then started having a very heated conversation about how he needs to pick someone. I didn't hear the whole thing. I'm probably glad I didn't. When she was done, Ash looked like a sad puppy. Luke watched the whole thing go down as Elizabeth, Taylor and I were talking to Josh and Tyler. Luke pulled Amy to the side, I signaled at Taylor and Elizabeth to sit down at the table to get as close to the convention as possible.

Tyler and Josh started to have an in depth conversation with Taylor about their music. I chimed in for a minute to ask the question that I was shocked no one asked yet.

"Why are you guys in town? Why did you come to meet us? How do you know about us?" Ok. The three questions. Tyler and Josh laughed.

"Luke called us. We met at a festival a couple of years ago. He said that there was a girl here that loved us and wanted to meet us, and he offered to let us tag along for the day." Tyler said, Taylor squeaked.

"I wish we could..." Josh continued, Taylor sighed, and Ashton let out a sigh.
"...but, we have to go to the Zoo to do the sound check. Then the show tonight. We would love to stay and get to know you all. " Tyler finished.

"Why don't you come to the show? It would mean a lot to me-us!" Josh stuttered as he made eye contact with Taylor, making her blush. That making Ashton mad. This boy is as confusing as a sudoku game...
"We would love to!" Taylor practically cut Josh off.
"It's a date then." Josh said winking at Taylor then saying good-bye to all of us.
Elizabeth was still listening to the discussion Luke and Amy were having in the sectioned off part of the restaurant. They both came back as Elizabeth sat in a jaw-dropped expression staring at me. I shot her a questioning look, she mouthed, "later," then sat observing everything.

Everyone sat back down.
Ashton in front of Taylor. Mikey in front of me. Luke in front of Amy and Calum in front of Elizabeth. Half way there... Now to get information on Luke and what Ashton is doing with himself. Mikey sat in front of me looking confused but, also like he had something to tell me. He coughed really loud and said,
"I need to alktay ootay Makayla."
"You don't need to speak pig Latin just tell her you need to talk, idiot." Calum said making a face at him, Mikey retaliated with a hand gesture back at Calum.
