The air was heavy as she opened her eyes from the dream she was just having. She looked over, unable to find Cake in her bed. Fiona came down stairs, only to find a note on the table from Cake, saying that she would be away for the weekend.

"Shit! It's Saturday. I'm supposed to go see Marshall Lee," She said to herself. "Oh no, what am I going to do? I can't be late."

She took a hurried shower and put on her usual dark blue skirt and blue shirt. She could not wear her bunny hat because her hair was wet and wouldn't dry for hours. Fiona put her bunny hat in her backpack for later.

Marshall's POV>

"Where is Fiona? She's never late," I quietly thought to myself as I got out of bed and floated into the bathroom.

Once I was in the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and paid special attention to my beautiful fangs. After that, I walked into the closet and pulled on the usual plaid shirt, jeans, and red sneakers. I reached into the back of the deep closet and pulled out the shoebox where the shoes usually were, but I mistakenly got the wrong shoes and they turned out to be the old Vans. I had gotten them when he was a young Vampire.

"Wow, I can't believe it; Fiona would love these!"

I was rushing to find something "decorative" to put the shoes in. Then I found it. It was the bag that someone had given to me for my birthday, probably around 50 years ago. I usually kept the bags from birthdays so I can reuse them later, on account that there really was no where to buy them.

"You know, I think I am going to take a nap," he thought to himself while yawning.

Fiona's POV>

"Bye BMO! I am going to see Marshall Lee; take care of the house while I'm gone." I said, running out of the house, on my way to Marshal's. It was weird. I didn't want to stop running. For some reason, I had to get there quickly. I then realized how far his house was from mine after getting to the edge the forest where Marshall lives. I had probably just run a mile in about ten minuets. That didn't happen to be the best time, but I was proud of it. I walked the rest of the way.

Finally, I reached his front door, but before I rang the bell or knocked, I had to tell myself, "Don't get you hopes up." With that, I knocked on the door. Marshall didn't answer. I knocked again. When he didn't answer, I knew something was wrong, so I pulled out my sword and kicked the door in. Already in fighting position, I saw Marshall Lee hovering in the middle of the room out cold. I put my sword away, not worrying about the sound, knowing he was a heavy sleeper.

I thought I would prank him a bit, so I opened the front door and quickly, but carefully, pulled him outside and found a small pond. I walked right into it and pulled him into the middle, not knowing how deep it was until I got there. I walked out of the pond, picked up several small pebbles, and threw them at him.

"Wha-," Marshall got cut off as he fell into the water.

I started laughing uncontrollably. I was rolling on the floor when Marshall Lee came up to me soaking wet. He picked me up and jumped back into the water with me. We both started laughing so hard. Then, he did the unthinkable. He smiled, held me close, leaned in, and kissed me.

It was amazing. At one point, we floated out of the water and the next thing I knew, we were on his couch.

After what seemed like forever, he lifted his head up and smiled at me and said, "Fiona I think we need to talk."

3rd POV>

They looked at each other longingly and sat up on the couch.

"Marshall Le-," she was cut off.

"Please Fiona, let me go first. I know how you feel about relationships and that you just turned 18, but I just need to tell you that I love you and I always have since the moment I met you."

"Marshall Lee, I think I love you too."

Marshall Lee's eyes got wide and he smiled a toothy grin, telling her: "I have something for you."

He grabbed her hand, walked into the kitchen, and handed her the red bag with the shoes. Fiona looked at the bag and hesitated slightly before opening it up. When she pulled it out, she could see how excited Marshall Lee was. She was so touched that he got her these, but she had never seen them before.

"What are they?"

"They are called Vans. I used to have a pair in every color a couple hundred years ago. They stopped making them and I guess I saved this pair. I just found them in my closet this morning, and I though that you would like them."

"Oh my glob, Marshall Lee, I LOVE THEM!" She accidentally shouted the last part.

He was so happy she liked them. He picked her up and swung her around the room. Once he set her down, they both realized they were soaking wet.

"Here, come up stairs. I have something for you to put on."

He guided her up the stairs and to his room, not daring to let go of her hand the entire time. Once up in his room, he got her a pair of his pajama pants and one of his old band shirts to put on. She went to the connecting bathroom to change, and he as well quickly changed into pajama pants and a plain whit shirt.

Once she walked out of the bathroom, he just stood there looking at her, walked over, put his hands around her waist and whispered, "You have never looked more beautiful then you do standing here right this moment."

Fiona could feel her face blushing a bright red. At that moment, he kissed her again, but this time it wasn't even a kiss; their lips barely touched.

Marshall Lee then picked up Fiona and brought her down stairs so they could watch a movie together. They decided on having a Heat Signiture marathon, on account that it was their favorite movie to watch together. Fiona quietly thought to herself, "What a perfect end to a perfect day."
