Cake was crying and Fiona knew that. Cake didn't do anything wrong and Fiona knew that. Cake always took care of Fiona and loved her and Fiona knew that. But at that moment Fiona didn't care what Cake did she cared what she didn't do. That she never told her about her real mother and where she came from. Cake used to tell her stories about how she found this beautiful baby girl in the forest sitting in a pile of leaves all alone crying. That's where Fiona always thought she had come from. Fiona never questioned that story because she never gave it much though that the small blond baby must have had a mother somewhere.

Marshall Lee was awestruck at what Cake had said to them. Marshall knew of the small tribe of humans that survived after the Mushroom War. What he didn't know was that Cake saved Fiona from dieing out there in the Ice Kingdom. Marshall knew he needed to take Fiona to see this place, the place of her only real family, in order for him to save her.

"Fi-Fiona?" Marshall stuttered.

"Don't call me that," She hissed. Marshall stopped flying and landed even though Fiona fought him all the way.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"I am trying to help you but you are making it very very difficult."

"Don't yell at me! Are you kidding me! You have no idea what I am going through right now! My whole life was just ripped apart and your yelling at me." She shouted at him hopping he would step away from her face.

"No. No you don't understand," He was only getting closer, "Cake is the only reason that you are alive, Fiona. You would have died 18 years ago, what don't you understand about that? You could be dead. You need to get your shit together and really think about what Cake has done for you."

"I said don't call me that." She growled.

"What you don't want me to call you by your name now?"

"NO! I DON'T IS THAT TO MUCH TO ASK? THAT ISN'T EVEN MY REAL NAME MY REAL MOTHER HAD ONE FOR ME BUT NEVER TOLD ANYONE. SO NO DON'T CALL ME FIONA BECAUSE THAT IS MY MOTHER'S NAME NOT MINE. HOW AM I EVEN SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT I DESERVE TO BE NAMED FOR HER, MARSHALL?" Fiona was crying and shouting and she didn't know what to do.

"Is this what this is all about? You are named for your mother. I knew your mother. I watched her kill a bear twice her size to protect a child who wasn't even hers. Fiona you are very much worthy of you name." Marshall couldn't find any of the right words to tell her that she shouldn't worry. He was standing above her holding her hands and looking into her eyes, "Fiona is the name of a wonderful person, who is strong and can hold her own, beautiful, caring." Marshall said and he could see that this wasn't making her feel any better. "I am not completely sure but after what you have done with this name I am not sure that even your mother could live up to it." Marshall could tell this time he said the right thing when Fiona looked at him and smiled.

"Thank you Marshall," Fiona cooed.

"Come on we still have to go see it."

"Do we have to?"

"Yes we really really do." She really doesn't know how bad her condition is does she?

"Hey Fi! Hows is your back and leg?" Marshall asked her hesitantly.

"It really hurts." Her face went white as soon as he asked her the question. Marshall went around to her backside and saw that what he thought was heeled was only getting worse. The back of her shirt was reddening with blood. Her leg seemed to heel more then her back but not enough.

"We need to get you there quickly." With that Marshall put one arm under her legs and the other under the back of her neck. Marshall was careful while fling but he needed to get there fast but the only problem was he really didn't know where he was going.

After some time of flying Marshall let his mind wander. Marshall started thinking about how odd Fiona was acting. It was as if she couldn't feel the pain unless she was with him very closely. However before he could think about it much more he saw an odd shape in the snow, it wasn't like the other "odd shapes" this one was different. Marshall slowly drifted down, Fiona now fully conscious was standing on the ground and looking at the pile of snow.

She slowly walk towards one of the snow piles and brushed the snow away. It was soft to the touch but the snow was cold Fiona didn't realize how cold she was till now. At that moment Fiona didn't care quite that much. Some of the snow piles were larger then others, Fiona realized that she could possible stand in them. That's when she realized that the piles of snow were houses. The houses of the last people in Aaa.

Marshall could see how emotional this all was for Fiona, he decided to stay back and let her have this moment. Marshall could see the pain in her eyes as she saw the houses. He watched as she pushed the snow away enough for her to get inside. Marshall watched Fiona disappear in to a small house farthest away from the rest.

Fiona was crying so hard all she wanted to do was lay in the small human bed and cry and sleep. In the middle of crying she realized how cold she was. Fiona got up and started looking around, what she assumed was her parents home, for a coat of some kind. She found what she was looking for in a small trunk under the cot.

What Fiona found in the trunk was startling. It contained things she had never see before such as a necklace but it had an odd pennant on it. Fiona looked closer there was a man on t shaped thing.

"Ew," she thought, "who would wear this?"

The coat she hoped to find was at the bottem of the trunk an was much to big for her and she realized that it most likely would have been her father's. Fiona began looking around for something that might have been her mother's when she found it. As soon as she had seen it she knew that it had to have been her mother's. She walked over slowly and picked up the small flat dish. Fiona wiped off the surface of the dish to find that i wasn't a dish it was a photo frame. It was a framed photo of her parents.

Fiona sat on the cold floor for ages just looking at her Mother and Father. Her father looked like a tall man,

"He was definitely a skilled hunter," she though. Fiona continued studding his face and hair and his nose that he must have broken she concluded from the unnatural crookedness of it.

Her eyes were draw to her mother next. We have the same hair and eyes she thought.

With that she left the house and rushed over to Marshall who was right where she had left him, standing by a tree very confused.

"I got the stuff I need are you ready to go home?" Fiona asked Marshall.

"Uh yea I got my stuff too. Lets go." He quickly grabbed Fiona and put her on his back before she could say anything else.

"I love you." Fiona whispered as she was leaving the Ice Kingdom and for a moment she thought that she had herd the wind whisper back,

"We love you to."

Yay! Chapter 10 we did it! I am very happy so far with the way this story has come out. This is the first fanfic I have ever written and I figured that I would have made 10 my last chapter but as you can see that will not be happening. I am so excited to see where this story goes but to be completely honest I don't even know!

~~Love always KeKa
