Chapter 14

Fiona awoke the next morning with her skin stained with tears. She didn't want to open her eyes because she knew that as soon as she did she would have to talk to people. She didn't want to talk to any more, not even Marshall. Fiona knew she had to all she wanted to do was watch Heat Signature with Marshall. And maybe even have a  Heat Signaure marathon.

"Marshall?"

"Yea Fi?"

"Just checking to see if your still there."

"I haven't moved since we got here last night."

"Oh. I am so sorry about that by the way. I don't know what came over me but, well I went to see... Gumball."

"Oh," Marshall stiffened and tried to sit up so he and Fiona could sit face to face and talk, "Why did you go see him."

"Well I just wanted to get out of the house so I did and I wanted to see if he knew anything about curses. I know I am not supposed to say anything and I didn't even get a chance to talk to him about it. I just burst in and yelled I needed help it was like up until I got into that room I couldn't cont role what I said. Then he got all creepy and tried touching me. I said he wasn't a man he said you weren't I said he was a stale piece of gum then I got banished. So now I am never aloud back in the Candy Kingdom." Fiona was hoping Marshall didn't catch the stale piece of gum part.

"Wait let me get this straight,

One, Gumbutt was being creepy.

Two, you called him a stale piece of gum.

Tree, now you are banished from the kingdom.

Well I have to hand it two you the stale gum part was funny but banished I think Gumbut should get over himself."

"After all that all you took away was stale gum?"

"Well no I also found out more about  your curse."

"From what? What happened yesterday?"

"Yea. I think it might have been something my mother did. Since you are the last human my mother has kept a close eye on you. I think she was afraid I would tried and eat you before she could. Demons eat humans too by the way. So when you were younger I think she cursed you and set a trigger. That trigger was for the first time we shared the same emotion to each other at the same time."

"Wow ok so what is going to happen to me now?"

"Nothing really the worst parts of it are over for now you wont be able to control your emotions though. But we have the icicles so you need to eat those and basically now we just have to wait for you to decide"

"Decide what?"

"Uh weather or not you decide to become a uh... well a vampire." Marshall hesitated. Fiona's face went white she and became short of breath.

"Why do I have to become a vampire? Are there other options? Can I do anything so I don't have to become one? How Long before I absolutely have to become one." Fiona was only half thinking about what she was saying and just spitting out what came to mind first.

"Ok uh let me answer as many of these questions as I can. Uhhm well no there aren't. No you really can't do anything. As long as you want to wait but I recommend no more then 2 too 3 years. And you have to well you don't have to but slowly you go insane and the longer we wait the worse it will get." Marshall hesitated and he hated that he had to tell Fiona this.

"Oh well I want to spend more time as a human and in the sun. How long before I go bonkers?"

"Well depends has anything odd happen to you yet other than that dream?
