Free music was going well; I was getting along with Luke and Fabian, until Luke was called to the office. I looked at Fabian as Luke walked away.
"I wonder what it is." I thought out loud. Fabian looked at me set the guitar down.
"I mean he's in a world famous band, he's probably got a tour to do or something." He blurted. I shrugged, Fabian did have a point.
Luke came rushing back and grabbed his phone excitedly. "Whoa, what happened?" Fabian asked as Luke fumbled through his bag.
"I found her. The girl with a voice, it was her." He stated excitedly. My eyes widened and I turned to Fabian.
I was infuriated. Someone had intentionally stole my voice! I know I'm good, but not worth stealing. But I looked at Luke like nothing was wrong and smiled fakely.
"Oh, congratulations, Luke!" I muttered. Luke smiled from ear to ear before he ran out. Fabian gave me a look of disappointment before he opened his mouth to speak.
"Eleanor, you've got to be shitting me." Fabian stated as soon as Luke was out of ear shot.
I gave him a look; I had no idea that this is what Tiffany and Tabatha had planned. But then again, I should've known they would have done something this devious.
"Why didn't you tell him it was you when you had the damn chance?" Fabian's voice was now mad. I looked at him angrily and gave him a 'don't mess with me' look.
"Because honestly, he'll find out it's me eventually." I told him.
Fabian sighed and began playing the guitar again. "That's true. Plus, the girl can't be that good of a lip sync-er." Fabian admitted. I shrugged and put my ear bud in my ear, listening to whatever my iPod played.
"Ellie, want to go goof off in the studio?" Fabian asked, a smirk arising on his lips. I smirked back and raised my eyebrows.
"Beat you there!" I told him, jumping out of my seat and scurrying to the free studio.
I sat down in the booth and placed the microphone in front of me. Fabian began playing my favourite song by Taylor Swift and as he sat next to me. "Sing, Eleanor." He encouraged.
"All I knew this morning when I woke, is I know something now, know something now, I didn't before. And all I've seen, since eighteen hours ago, is green eyes, freckles and your smile in the back of my mind, making me feel like..."
I sang happily. We both sang the chorus happily, and then Fabian started singing.
"And all my walls, stood tall painted blue, and I'll take 'em down, take 'em down and open up the door for you."
I smiled as we sang into the microphones, Fabian was really talented. His voice gave me chills, and that usually never happened to me. Once the song stopped, I found myself looking into his eyes and smiling idiotically.
"What are you smiling about, Ellie Bean?" He laughed. I shook my head and smiled at him as I got off the stool.
"Nothing, your voice is absolutely brilliant." I told him. Fabian laughed at me and stood up.
"That is probably the most British thing you have said in the two years I've known you." I chuckled at him as we left the booth and played back the recording.
"This is the best."
Luke's POV
I made my way down the hall towards the principal's office.
"Principal Briggs wanted to see me?" I told the secretary behind the desk.
She looked up and smiled at me, "Go on in, sweet heart." She told me, pointing to Briggs' office door. I took in a deep breath before walking in, shutting the door behind me.
