Luke

It was now eight o'clock at night and I was debating on whether or not to call Serena. I glanced at my phone, then at the clock, then back at my phone. I scratched my head and got off the bed, making my way to the mirror in my room. Why did I have to be such a dick to Ellie? I usually wasn't mean to anyone, I was just angry with her. God, girls never did this to me, but Ellie. She was different, she made me feel different. I sighed and ran my fingers through my blonde hair and then looked around, looking for something to distract me.

"You should call her, dude." Michael's voice called from behind me.

I turned around to see him standing in the door way and smiling.

"Huh?" I asked confusedly as he neared me.

"Serena? She's your girl right? So call her." He smirked before continuing. "Oh, do you happen to have Ellie's number? Because if you're not gonna go after her then I will." He stated.

"I don't have her number." I shot back almost instantly. Michael shrugged and walked out of the room, leaving me alone. Michael liked Ellie and this made me slightly jealous.

I shook my head, I couldn't be thinking of Ellie like this. It didn't matter if she had beautiful green eyes and curly brown hair that shaped her face naturally. I looked at my phone and decided to call Serena up and ask her on that date. I dialed her number and awaited a response, and finally after six rings, she answered.

"Hello? Luke, is that you?" She asked, her voice slightly rising. I cleared my throat before speaking and fixed my hair, even though she couldn't see me right now.

"Uh, yeah... Hi Serena. Listen, would you like to go on that date tomorrow night?" I asked her, my voice slightly cracking. I heard her chuckle nervously before she replied.

"Yeah, I'd like that." She answered.

"Great, I'll get your address tomorrow." I replied before hanging up.

I kept thinking about what Ellie said to me earlier. I'm Luke Hemmings an ass hole apart of an international band, according to Ellie. Ellie, why the hell did my mind keep finding its way back to her? I shouldn't be thinking of her like that. She'd never like me; she made that very clear earlier when she yelled at me. I sighed and flopped on my bed, staring at the ceiling.

Why would Ellie say Serena is going to win an Oscar for impersonations and why did she say her voice would be right under her nose? What the hell does that mean? I looked at my phone as if it were going to answer my problems, but it was a phone, it wasn't going to.

"Luke, you alright mate?" Ashton asked, walking into my room and sitting on my bed. I turned to him,

"Does it look like I'm alright?" I asked him, looking up at him.

Ashton looked at me and nodded. "What's going on now?" He asked me, getting me to sit up and tell him everything. I sat up and crossed my legs, looking at him. I felt like a girl about to spill my feelings to him, but I felt I needed this, and Ashton is an amazing listener. I glanced down at the floor, not wanting to talk, but the words managed to find their way out of my mouth.

"Ellie." Is all I said before Ashton let out a low chuckle. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with that?" I asked him, my voice suddenly becoming weak.

"Luke, you've only known her for what? Two days?" He stated as he shook his head.

"Yeah, what's so bad about that?" I asked him, actually the slightest bit offended.

"She's a girl, Lukey boy. Plus, she doesn't seem interested in you whatsoever. There is really nothing you can do about it unless she wants to do something about it." Ashton had a valid point there; Ellie didn't seem interested in me at all.
