Jacks Dream Pov
I was in a dark, dark room. Elsa was marked and bruised. I felt betrayal from her, but looking at her face...
I rushed over to her. "Elsa!" I tried to scream, but no words came out of my mouth. "What have they done to you?"
The only light in the room was focused on Elsa's face. Dry tear stains, scars and marks dotted and covered her face.
I reached for her hand, but it was locked in handcuffs.
"No!" I tried to scream, but my voice was powerless. I jangled the handcuffs and tried as hard as I could to wrench them off of her. But I couldn't. I needed a key.
"I'll find the key!" my voice hardly rasped to her.
She acted like I wasn't there, resuming crying and slumping against the wall. "Jack..... I didn't leave you..... My father......"
"I'll get the key!" I tried, no words emitting once again. Did she see me? Did she know I was here?
In the dream, there was no walls, no doors, no windows, no light. Just one patch of light on Elsa, and one wall, the white, cracked brick one Elsa was slumped against, crying.
"Stay there!" I rasped, and I ran off into the darkness to look for a key.
I felt into the darkness, but I couldn't find the key. In the darkness, I was blind. But I felt myself uncertainly keep searching, striving to find a key for Elsa... We had been through so much together. I couldn't leave her like this.
I reached and felt around, stumbling into the dark further and further, until finally my hands grasped onto a cool, metal key. I was certain it was a key. What else could it be?
I listened to it jangle as I ran, uncertain, into the dark where I knew Elsa was waiting for me, or crying and talking that gibberish to herself again. I stumbled into the room and I grabbed her handcuffs.
I twisted the key into the padlock, and...
"Jack! Wake up!" she said. "Jack.. We made eggs!"
Wait.. Wha?
I woke up to see Constance hovering above me, smiling her sunny smile. "Oh good, you're up," she said. "You know, your sleeptalking about Elsa was pretty annoying last night. And worrying. Sorry, dude. Why'd you need to find a key?"
I shook my head. "Don't remember," I lied. I smiled. "You said something 'bout eggs?"
