Elsa's pov
I hated the food they gave me, the water too and the way they treat me. I really did hate it. I had a dream about Jack last night.
I hope they don't think I abandoned them. That's the worst feeling in the world to me. Anna snuck down a few times. Today was no different.
"Hey Els," She said, smiling a little.
"Hi," I said dryly.
"C'mon Els. Dont be like that," Anna said, clearly not impressed by my pathetic, sad "hi" .
"I'm sorry, but it sucks being here. I'm not gonna pretend even for you I'm enjoying myself," I said, crossing my arms or at least trying to.
Anna looks disappointed and like she feels bad for me. After staring at me for a while, she pulls a fierce and serious face.
"I'll get you out of here if its the last thing I do Elsa, I promise," Anna says courageously and determinedly. She gets up and leaves.
I try and freeze the cuffs off but once again, it doesn't work, so I let out a big huff and give up.
Later on that day I was picking at my liver and onions. Gross. I poked at the food and gagged. I wasn't going to eat this. Not at all.
I kicked the food against the wall and watched as it slid and scattered, spattering and splattering the wall. I let out a loud groan and slumped against the wall. It was icy cold. Like me.
Anna came down a little later. That didn't help me at all.
"Hey, Elsa," She said smiling, but the smile... looked fake. I didn't say hi right away because I knew something was off.
I glared at her. "What do you want Anna?" I asked impatiently.
"Oh, nothing, I was just, um, wondering... How long do you think you're going to stay down here?" She said. Suddenly it hit me. Her voice was ice cold and her eyes were piercing into mine. She seemed kind of sassy. It gave me shivers how mean she looked right now.
"Are you okay, Anna?" I asked. She was usually sunny and sweet. She gave me a wicked sneer. "So, when were you going to tell me that you tried to kill me? And almost succeeded?" She asked coldly, glaring at me, disgusted as if I was a rat.
Her words took me aback. Baffled, I looked at her.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
Anna stared coldly into my eyes. "You know what I'm talking about, and if you think that trying to kill me was going to stop me from getting the crown, you're wrong. I will be crowned Queen."
I tried to say something but my mouth didn't work. I think it was from thirst or weakness. When I could say something again, Anna hushed me.
"Daddy was right about you. You are a monster."
I felt the tears gather up in my eyes.
"Anna, it's not like that, it was an accident!" I tried to convince her, trying to get up but these stupid chains.....
" I don't want to hear it Elsa. I thought you were my sister. Clearly I was wrong."
And with that Anna got up sassily, coldly, and meanly and sashayed away, leaving me alone in the dungeon, making clanking noises with my handcuffs.
This isn't where I'm supposed to be.
Doesn't anyone see?
I'm not guilty.
