Chapter 5

Jake's POV-

I drove back to my vacation home in silent celebration. She may have left today but she loved me! I can't figure out what it is about her but since the first time I saw her on the beach I was putty in her hands. I pulled in to the drive way and got out. As I walked into the house I couldn't help but remember last night. The way she never broke eye contact with me, she held my heart in her hands. Last night had been the best that I could think of she was so amazing, I guess as long as it was her I was with it would always be that way. I've never been one to catch feelings so fast but what can I say she's like a deadly virus and I've got it bad. As the door shut behind me Chris jumped into the living room smirking like there was no tomorrow.

"What?" I eyed him suspiuosly.

"Oh you know what dude! I heard the girls squealing in the bathroom this morning, and you and Amy haven't been able to stop smiling all day bro. Which means there is something you haven't told me that Amy told Stacy?" he leaned against the wall studying my face for a give away. I was really excited about everything and heck Chris is my brother I can tell him any thing.

"We... Uhhh.... I... Well man last night it just sorta happened, and I just got this feeling that I've never had before. I'm in love with that girl Chris, and it's bad she has me wrapped around her finger." I looked down at my feet waiting for his response.

He clapped his hands together then came over and patted my back.

"That's great man, have you told her how you feel?"

I sighed. "Don't make it sound so girly, but yes I did and she said she loves me too!" I raised my voice slightly at the end from the joy bubbling in my heart. I have found my perfect girl and I plan on keeping her for as long as I can.

"That's good but have you thought about the fact that you go back tomorrow and start your teaching job? You wont have a lot of free time."

Damn it I forgot but I don't care I'll make time for her. Little did I know just how well she would fit into my schedule.

Amy's POV-

We finally made it back to town after what seemed like forever! The farther i got from him the more my heart ached I couldn't wait to see him again. I grabbed my bags and headed in the house, but dropped them just inside as I heard my moms voice.

"Hey Sweetie is that you?" she called out from the kitchen. I ran to her and almost tackled her in a hug.

"Well aren't we happy? How was the trip any thing cool?" she pulled out of my death grip bear hug but smiled lovingly. My mom was awesome she never judged me or got on to me as long as I was truthful with her she just tried to steer me in the right direction.

"Ok it was great! We were right on the beach! And I met this guy named Jake! He took me to the aquarium, and we got to get in the water with dolphins, then he took me horse back riding and we had a picnic. He is so amazing! Mom he told me he loved me and honestly I think I love him too!" i left out the club scene as I blabbered on about our time there. When I was finally done giving her all the little details except for the club and that night she smiled.

"Well it looks like you've got yourself the perfect man. Don't let him go because there ain't many out there baby girl." I jumped up and down excitedly, before rushing off to unpack. Once I had settle back in to my bed room it was already 9:00 pm and I had the dreaded first day of school tomorrow, which sucks.
