Chapter 12.5

It was Thursday morning and had been two days since we all got sent home. The first day we all spent here sitting a home with each other.

Today Jake had taken me out to dinner in the next town over.

Jakes phone rang so he dug it out of his pocket and answered it.

"Yes sir this is him."

Pause

"Yes I can."

Pause

"Thank you I'll be there with in twenty minutes." he hung up and turned to me.

"Your phone should be ringing any minute." I frowned.

"Why and how do you know?"

My phone sang in my pocket causing Jake to grin triumphantly.

I picked it up.

"Hello?" I asked

"Mrs. Smith?" Mr. Ayers answered in return.

"Yes sir?"

"This is Principle Ayers we need you to come in as soon as you can." his voice didn't give me any signs of the out come.

"Ok I'll be there as soon as possible thank you." I answered him before hanging up and looking nervously at Jake.

"It will be fine babe I promise now I'm going o leave first since I'm dressed and ready why dot you change into school appropriate cloths then head out?" I nodded and gave him a quick hug and a kiss before he left. I took my time changing into a pair of light blue jeans and a red t shirt. He jeans were getting tight even though they usually fitted snugly, and the shirt showed my stomach which wasn't round and big yet it was actually almost completely flat but if you had seen my stomach before you could see the slight change. Finally I grabbed my bags and headed to the school nervous about the out come. What if they had found something? Some proof of me and Jake? He would lose his job and probably never be allowed to teach again. I shook the scary thoughts away as I pulled into the school parking lot and killed the engine.

I entered Mr. Ayers office and found it the same as last time. Jake next to me and Mr. A in front of me.

"Alright Mrs. Smith I have looked into the accusation that was made and have found no evidence proving her statement and what evidence I did find only supported the fact that you and Mr. Martin are not in any kind of relationship. I did find proof that the two of you know each other a little more then student teacher but that is to be expected when you are friends with his little brother. I'm sorry to both of you for this inconvenience." Mr A smiled.

"If I may ask what is going to happen to Jessica? I'm sure she didn't mean to cause all this trouble she only wanted to get even with chris and me." I faked my best innocent face.

Mr. A sighed. "I know but the school board has seen it fit to expel her from this school district, she will no longer be attending this school." I almost smiled but quickly turned it into a frown.

"That's to bad." I shook my head.

"You may booth return to school tomorrow you are released." I smiled at Mr. Ayers and thanked him as I left.

Jake beat me home somehow and I entered the living room to his smiling face.

"See i told you we would be fine! Now all you have to do is pretend date David for another week or so then y'all can stop and you will be all mine!"

I chuckled.

"You have missed me have you?" he laughed at this and grabbed me in his arms.

"I love you and our baby." Jake whispered into my hair.
