"Aqua, what quest are we doing?" Erza asks.
"Hmmm, I don't know yet," I reply.
In the end I pick a mission to get rid of a dark guild. Sadly, I have never obtained or learned how to do any magic up to this point. So I have to rely on dodging and throwing punches. On the way there my stomach shows mild signs of discomfort.
"Aqua, are you alright?" My mom asks.
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"Nothing," she sits back against her seat.

We get to our location fairly quickly. The town is deserted, a paper blows in the wind.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Gray asks. I nod and walk. I can feel a pull to something, but I don't know what or who.
We end up at the doors to a shabby abode. I walk straight inside without a second thought.
"Aqua!" Someone yells. I'm grabbed and forwards pulled by my shoulder. Then I'm turned so my back is to the person holding me against them. By the position of my upper back, I can tell this person is a man.
"Drop your weapons," the man demands. Gray gets his stance ready for his Ice Maker magic, Erza summons a sword, and mom grabs a key.
"I told you to put your weapons down," he repeats dangerously. I can feel something cold against my neck. My guild mates and mother don't move a muscle. The cold thing slides a little against my neck, then something warm trickles down. I suck in a breath, my mom is the first to drop her keys. A sigh escapes my lips, thank goodness.
"Slide them forwards," the man says. She does as he demands, he chuckles as he looks at them, "these would go for a lot once melted." I want to kick him where the sun doesn't shine, so badly. I almost do it, except the blade at my throat stops me. All of a sudden vines grow rapidly from the ground. They pull the man's arm from my neck, and restrain him by the legs.
"I have him!" A feminine voice yells. Another girl swoops in and runs towards me. I kick the man between the knees then, with all my rage going into one punch. My fist ignites into flames as it comes down on his face. He lands on the ground, my breathing stops when I don't hear a heartbeat from him. Tears well in my eyes, I look up at the dumbfounded people around me. I don't wait for those looks to land on me, I bolt from the scene. My feet carry me and I don't care where I go. I can hear my mom's voice falling after me and now I can see why. In my hand holds her celestial keys. For only a moment I feel sorry, but I keep running. If I let my tears stream behind me, then maybe so will my past.
