Emily's POV

I wake up in a room entirely made of stone. I gingerly touch a finger to my temple as I sit up. Right beside me sits a furnace glowing and crackling. On top of the furnace rests my gleaming sword. I grip onto it and make my way out the door. I peek my head around the corner and see a huge cave. Along the side there were several rooms containing injured people lying on beds. In the middle of the cave a group of were chatting and eating food.

"Hello," I said quietly, slightly waving.

Immediately everyone crowded around me, asking random questions. Eventually, everyone left and continued with regular business. Dark walked up to me and handed me my crown. I slipped it on, and there is a long silence until he pipes up, "I almost forgot! I found this on my way into town."

He holds out a crumpled piece of paper to me. I hesitate at first and then finally grab it from him. I smooth it out and read...

Dear Emily,

If you find this then Herobrine has taken over the kingdom. I have prepared for this day. On the outskirts of Minecraftia, I have filled a cave with the needed tools and armor for you to recover our fallen kingdom. Beware...

Thats it the rest is smudged and unreadable. I furrow my eyebrows as I read it over and over again. Where exactly is this cave? How did Notch know this was going to happen?

"What does it say?" Dark questions. I hand it over to him to read.

When he finishes for the umpteenth time I ask, "What do you think?"

"Looks like we're going to Herobrine's Mansion!"

"Ok, but I still don't understand why Herobrine is still alive. I thought my ancestors killed him centuries ago." I said.

"I'll let Ant explain," Dark said. He led me to Ant (antvenommcpe), reading the recovered books for information.

"Hi Ant, can you explain to me why Herobrine is alive?" I asked.

Ant looks up and says "Ok, Herobrine isn't like us, he never truly dies. Whenever someone kills him, his remains are scattered across Minecraftia. In a few hundred years, the remains come together, and he is formed again."

"Thanks," I say before walking over to Ult (ultimate_marine) and handing him the note.

He reads it over and then exclaims, "Everyone, we'll be leaving in a couple days to Herobrine's Mansion!"

I hear a few gasps in the crowd.

"First of all, Matt will search the village for survivors. Then some people will collect food and iron for armor. Finally, we'll leave on horses to Herobrine's Mansion," Ult finished.
