"Tay?"
Even as Jordan opened the door I couldn't stop crying. I was sure there was a dent in my bed from where I'd been curled up for the past few hours. I hadn't gone to work, or met up with the guys at the bar. This was where I'd stayed since I left Jenna's.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" he asked. He had climbed in beside me and wrapped his arms around my shaking body. My makeup tears had stained my pillow, and I groaned, sitting up. "Tay..."
"Jenna...we're officially over."
I'm sure he didn't want to, but he chuckled. "Sure you are."
"She chose Courtney."
He hugged me tighter and I buried my face in his chest. "You really think you're over for good? You always end up back together."
I was crying into his shirt, but he was right. It always seemed as though we always got back together.
"Come on," he said. "Let's go out with the guys. Get your mind off her."
I sniffed and nodded, sitting up. Going out with the guys normally made me feel better. I cleaned myself up so I didn't look like as much of a mess and then we headed out for the bar.
We drank for a little while and sat around bullshitting until Rob sighed noticeably. I turned to look at him.
"Alright, eight o'clock," he said. "There's a smoking hot girl that has checked you out every single time you've gotten up for a drink and she keeps looking over here. Go talk to her."
"Rob-"
"You'll thank me later."
I sighed and stood, seeing a familiar face at the bar. I chuckled nervously as I walked up to her and she smiled.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," Robyn replied with a laugh. "How are you? I haven't seen you as often lately since She-Devil's been hanging around Jenna."
I shrugged and sat beside her. "She said we're officially over so she can work with Courtney. Who knows?"
She rolled her eyes. "So you tryna get your mind off things?"
"How'd you know?"
"You've seemed pretty tense about something all night."
"Yeah. You can tell?"
She nodded. "I'm normally pretty good at noticing. Can I buy you a drink?"
"Actually...do you wanna go somewhere? You don't have to, it's just that I normally get my fill of this place after a little while."
"That sounds quite enjoyable," she laughed. "Where do you wanna go?"
I shrugged. "Hungry?"
Jenna's P.O.V.
"We should do some changes to the house."
"What- why?"
"Well...if we're gonna be living together I don't want it to still be Jenna's Bachelorette Pad, silly. We should add some color, spice up the living room."
"Courtney, chill out. Can we just enjoy this time right now, babe?"
I pulled her down into my lap by her waist and kissed her softly, but it felt strange. She was not who I was wishing she was. As soon as the kiss was over, she was up again.
"I have to call my parents about the engagement. I'm so excited!"
I forced a smile that quickly disappeared as soon as she was out of the room. Even from the living room I could hear her happily yapping on the phone to most likely her mum, but I wasn't as excited. I wanted to talk to Tay. I had to talk to her, tell her I made a mistake.
