Why must I be so perfect to you?
My life is not great, this world is not kind.
I just wish you would open your eyes.
For if you were like me, there are things you would loose.
Your heart would be cold, walk a mile in my shoes.
Your friends would not love you, there is lust in there eyes.
The drugs would not calm you, they wear a disquise.
The men will not please you, you'll just sit and cry.
You'll feel dirty and ashamed, from all your regrets filling your mind.
Why must I be so perfect to you?
I am far from it.
My sweet sister, I will overcome it.
The lies, the abuse, the drugs and the anger.
But please say you'll be you, or you'll be in danger.
You're so perfect to me, please don't change that.
