-- Liam POV --
That new girl, Satan, seems to be playing hard-to-get. She's always around Abi, which makes it impossible for me to talk to her. Believe me, I tried. Anyway, I woke up suddenly from a dream. No matter how much I tossed and turned, I couldn't fall asleep again.
So I reluctantly got up and got a drink of water. It didn't help a bit. But when I was heading back to my bunk, I saw a light at the end of the hall. It was from an upper bunk, across from mine. I walked towards the light, slowly. The picture I saw was rather strange.
Abi/Angel/Whatever-they-call-her was being held somewhat by Satan, with her head on her shoulder. She was softly humming a song I couldn't identify. I hope it's one of our songs, I thought to myself. I shook my head at the strange thought. Why would I think that? Anyway, Satan was also giving her a hug, and running a hand through her hair. Suddenly, I felt a pang of disappointment, oddly enough.
"What's going on here?" I ask, confused. "Are you two together, or something?" Satan looks at me like I'm mad, or something. "I'm appalled by the very notion." She whisper-yelled. "We are just very close. We're not together." "Then how do you explain this?" I waved my hand up and down, gesturing to the scene.
"Angel doesn't like small or crowded spaces for long periods of time. She doesn't like the curtain drawn, but she doesn't like everybody to see her. When she gets panicked, I comfort her. She won't go to sleep otherwise, and a grumpy Abi is something you don't want to see." Satan explains.
"Then what are you doing awake? Surely she doesn't wake you up." "Oh, she doesn't." She scoffs somewhat at the thought. "You didn't answer my question." I pester. "I don't sleep." And that's the way our conversation ends. She pops up, lays Angel down carefully, and climbs down. Silently, she turns off the light. That was the last I saw of her before darkness took over.
-- The next morning, Louis POV --
I woke up to lips on mine. I smile and open my eyes. Sure enough, my beautiful girlfriend is standing there. "Hey, Louis." She says, also smiling. "It's time to get on the road." And within the hour, we're all ready.
"Captain Smollet, take the helm!" Shouts Jessica as she plunks down in the couch. Immediately after she rubs her legs. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sore." She groans. "Jessica, please tell me you didn't stay up past nine stretching.." Replies Brooklyn. "I did, though." And then a groan contest begins between the girls.
Brooklyn jumps onto my lap and kisses me. It's so abrupt and impromptu that it takes me a few seconds to ease in the kiss. We sat there, kissing for probably ten minutes. And it was a fantastic ten minutes.
-- Brooklyn POV --
After Louis and I ended our little make out session, I just hugged him. Then, a wild Satan appeared! She had very, very dark circles under her eyes, and she stumbled zombie-like into the living room and sat on the couch. I saw Louis was about to comment or something, but I placed my finger in his lips. "Not. A. Word." I hissed under my breath, and gestured to the other couch.
"You're tired?" Semi-asked Abi, looking at Violet. She barely nods. "Sleep." She orders. Violet is about to protest, but Abi shushes her. "Sleep." Passively, she closes her eyes.
I wait until I'm sure she's asleep before I speak. "Poor girl. So tired." "Tell me about it." Jessica scoffs. "Why wasn't I allowed to talk?" Louis asks. "You've never seen a mad tired Satan, obviously." I reply to his question. "You have to wait until she's asleep before the fun begins!" Louis looks very confused at my comment. "Fun?"
The girls and I giggle as he continues to be confused. "Oh yeah! We totally baby her when she's asleep. She won't let us when she's falling asleep." My boyfriend still looks confused. "We hold her and the like. It totally embarrasses her if she wakes up while we do it. Although, if she's really tired, she doesn't care."
"Isn't she really heavy, though?" "Louis, she's the youngest in the group. Light as a feather." I reply with an of course, why not? tone to my voice. Abi makes an evil smile. "Let the fun... Commence." "Don't do that, Angel. You're really creepy when you do that." Jessica informs her.
